Cole
Julian McMahon Cole Turner first appeared in Episode 1 of Season 3, The Honeymoon's Over and immediately caught the eye of Phoebe. It wasn't long however before we found out that Cole had a demonic alter ego (Belthazor) and sinister designs on the Charmed Ones. Under pressure from his employers, the shadowy Triad, to eliminate them Cole tried several approaches but his genuine and growing romantic attachment to Phoebe began to get in the way. He ended up protecting the Charmed Ones and became a sort of demon outlaw when he massacred the Triad. After much soul-searching and a tug-of-war between his good and evil sides he ended Season Three apparently on the side of the good guys and desperate to find a way for he and Phoebe to be together, even if it meant giving up his powers.

Julian McMahon appeared in the popular Aussie soap "Home and Away" before moving to the U.S. where he landed the role of Ian Rain, a nasty piece of goods on another long running soap opera "Another World". His next role was quite a change: John Grant, a by-the-book Atlanta homicide detective in the crime series "Profiler".

He is a great fan of his new home: "It's a very positive attitude in America. The land of dreams is part of the culture here. Anything is possible. You just have to make it happen." As to his own taste in entertainment, he says he likes "a variety of stuff, from a good action flick, to a romantic comedy, I love it all!" On his own time, McMahon enjoys surfing, biking, and "cooking anything" (especially roasts, pastas and ethnic cuisine).
