THE BIBLE RETOLD 19

this is a work in progress

BOOK 2 CHAPTER 14

14:1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; 14:2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

According to the genealogy charts it has only been approximately 380 years since the flood and yet here are all these nations and kingships. All derived from the original eight. Impossible? Not really. These people were descended from the brightest of humans. They lived long and they were fertile and they had to repopulate the world. Its like the trick where you have two people and they have four children and they have four children and so on. In 6 generations you have millions of people. These are into the 11th generation. These are also the results of the dispersal from the Tower of Babel. Although most of the new tribes living near each other would have soon picked up each others language and melded them.

In fact what we have now is a fight for space it appears. And since we are now getting into a section that deals with the coming destruction of Soddom and Gommorah, I would like to introduce you to a man I have never met, yet who has made it possible for me to see clearer. His name is Bill Fry, and he has a web site ("http://www.anchorstone.com/wyatt/"). He has done a great deal of INTELLEGENT archaeology in the DEAD SEA area. He claims that the Dead Sea did not exist at this time, and I agree with him. If these words were copied or written from other scripts then the existence of the Dead Sea would be assumed at the time. And ignored. But almost everything in here(The Bible) is mentioned the first time it is come across, and yet it does not mention the Dead Sea. (They are now discovering what appear to be the remains of cities at the bottom of the Dead Sea. Strange, but this is a very small lake and not terribly deep, yet no one is exploring what could be the greatest find in our history?)That is they are not doing it openly are they? What are they afraid of?

14:3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.(Is there any significance in the fact that this phrase uses the present tense (is) instead of the past tense (was)? All the rest of the sentences use the past tense.)Could it be that the vale of Siddim refers to the site before the time of the Salt Sea? The use of the word 'vale' implies this.

14:4 Twelve years they served chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. 14:5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zusims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kirathaim, 14:6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto El-paran, which is by the wilderness. 14:7 And they returned, and came to En-mishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezon-tamar.

This is a milestone in the history of the world after the flood. It is the first recorded war between the descendants of Noah since the flood! It is also the first time that it records man killing man since Cain slew Able! Man may have killed his fellow man before this but it was not recorded. These are firsts. And they reflect the mind set of the men who wrote or copied this part of the bible, for by the time the Bible was compiled man had been warring with his fellow man for a few thousand years and killing him. As a result he could record this without making much of it.(Sitchin may have written about the Anunnaki fighting and killing prior to this event but it is not recorded in the Bible.)

14:8 And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zebolim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim: 14:9 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five. 14:10 And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomarrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

These slimepits were along the area where the Dead Sea is now. And there were the cities on the west of the Dead Sea. And the slimepits were the source of all their wealth. What exactly were slime pits? Saltpans?

14:11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way. 14:12 And they took Lot, Abrams brothers son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 14:13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew: for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederat with Abram.

Has no one noticed that this is the first time in the bible that the word Hebrew is used? When were they given that designation? That is the name of a race. Abram is not the father of a race yet. These words were compiled later after the fact.

14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto dan. 14:15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. 14:16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. 14:17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the kings dale. 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was the priest of the most high God.

I feel like writing this section in colored ink, in order to set it apart from the rest. It goes fairly unnoticed among all the rest of the words. Yet the name and person of Melchizedek are known in esoteric circles very well. Why? What sets him apart? There are a number of mysteries here. 1. Salem is known as the abode of the first witch mentioned in history (bible). 2. Melchizedec is the first mention of what we now know of as a "Holy" person, with the ability to bless someone. That the two of them should be from the same area is also very interesting and should alert us to something strange here. When we now know what a Witch really is and that it was a movement that reached as far as the British Isles and that it involved great learning, we must question if it was in some way in competition with the religion of Melchizedick for the peoples minds. Especially if it put women on an equal footing with men. 3. There is another answer that may shock you. Women were Witches. But we do not really know what was meant by a "witch' in those days! Things change over time. What it really might have meant was a woman who had powers that were not welcome by the Anunnaki! Contact with the REAL creator maybe? Or someone with psychic powers that could read the Anunnaki? Whatever, they were afraid of them. And we do know don't we that there is no such thing as the Devil? That this is a creature of the Roman Church to keep the lowly in line?

This is a marvelous change in the history of man and yet there is nothing to tell us about this man or this religion or his right to bless us. But further on he tells us that Abram is of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:. (Note; Possessor of, not creator of. Did he mean that Abram was one of the Anunnaki's children?)

14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into they hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

What you must realize here is the concept of God in the minds of men. When ALL MEN are created by a creator, why on earth would he set one group of men above another? Especially when he created them all to be equal? HE creates and then leaves his creation to develope on its own. And none are more important than the others. The Creator of life would not help one group of men kill another group of men, for all are his creation.

14:21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. 14:22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth.
ALWAYS IT SAYS LORD NOT CREATOR. AND HE IS CALLED POSSESSOR NOT CREATOR.
4:23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take anything that is thine, lest thou shouldest say,I have made Abram rich: 14:24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

Since this is the prelude or build up to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and other cities of this plain, we should not pass it by so easily. And since nothing written in the bible is without meaning we must look closer into this battle and its outcome. A close look shows that men are fighting over space and goods, and dominance. It looks like the flood did not solve the problem of over breeding.
