This is the femoral head of a bone (outlined in green) lodged in the oropharynx of the second tiger. Do you recognize the tongue to the left of and under the lodged bone? The only difference between the two tigers' deaths was the type of bone blocking their respective airways. The first tiger had two cut rib bones lodged in its oropharynx. Sadly, they both choked to death due to improper feeding technique.
