16)Among Daughters of the Wilderness
     -Zarathustra�s shadow implores Zarathustra to stay in cave with guests
     -shadow afraid that while they are all now motivated to better themselves and become overman
          *that once Zarathustra leaves, they will lose also that motivating force
          *that they will lose motivation as their mood changes
17)The Awakening
     -by learning to laugh at yourself, you lose �the spirit of gravity�
     -the �best sign� that someone is improving himself is that the person learns to be grateful
     -Zarathustra is horrified when everyone in the cave starts paying homage to the ass/donkey
          *scene demonstrates how people will interpret stupidity and nonsensical statements as something             of great importance and weight
18)The Ass Festival
     -Zarathustra questioning and criticizing everyone for why they were praising the Ass/donkey
     -but Zarathustra still gives them some praise for thinking on their own and for a degree of creation
19)The Drunken Song
    1)all the people began to realize that they had advanced much during the evening
         *that they were pleased with their lives and that that each would be willing to live these exact lives           over again
    2)(nothing)
    3)in the silence of the middle of the night, there are things you may hear/notice that you normally              don�t in the hustle and bustle during the day
    4)it is in �the deep midnight� that one �hears� the �call� to achieve the level of overman and �be the           lord of the earth�
    5)you cannot merely dance on the earth
         *you must fly above it
    6)reiterates that �the world is deep�
         *deeper in the midnight than the day
    7)the middle of the night is �brighter� than the day
         *the night is where the strongest souls reside
    8) �God�s woe is deeper�
         * �even if woe is deep, joy is deeper yet than agony�
         *the call of the overman may not come until the midnight of your life when you have left the                   noon and afternoon of you behind
    9)what has become ripe and perfect wants to die
          *once you have attained your goal and have �ripened�, then you have fulfilled your life and you                can (and maybe should) die
         *with achieving your goal, you have joy
              -joy from accomplishing things for yourself, for joy�s own sake
              -those who have woe, forsake themselves and achieve things for their heirs
         *when you have achieved joy, you have reached a point in your life when you can be happy with             reliving it over and over
   10)curses can be a blessing, midnight too is noon, pain too is a joy, a sage too is a fool   (similar to             Taoist philosophy)
         *if you want/accept any joy, then you must want/accept any woe as well
         *cannot have one without the other
   11)all joy wants is itself
20)The Sign
     -Zarathustra emerges form the cave in the morning
          *decides that the �higher men� are not his suitable companions
          *they did not rise with him (they weren�t ready to �go under� and become overmen with him)
     -leave behind those who don�t travel with you
     -Zaarthustra suddenly feels surrounded by and immersed in love
          *as Zarathustra reaches forth, he finds a lion roaring
          *the lion caressed his leg like a cat and its owner
     -many animals swarmed about Zarathustra with love and rested upon him
     -the final sin to be overcome is pity for the higher man
