THE BIG NEWS: Brock Lesnar will be (it seems) in Angle's corner at the PPV.  Well, Brock is turning on Angle, or Angle is turning on Brock.  These alliances never go well.  The fact Show pinned Angle in the main event seems to bode well for his title hopes.

OTHER NEWS: Albert is now A-Train, a big slow drain on the main event scene.  Woohoo....  Nunzio debuted, with a nice intense beatdown of Crash.  Billy Kidman seems to be moving into Rey's spot with the Smackdown Six, which is good as he's a good worker and gave have great matchups with them.

MADE ME SMILE: I thought the Steiner segment was good as it made him a stronger face by playing off Stephanie.  The tag match was fantastic...and Angle's babyface comeback made me mark out like a mofo.

In other great news, HHH was not on this show and therefore did not bury anyone.

MADE ME FROWN: John Cena's gimmick is death.  He is so stuck in the lower card.  The PPV booking reminds me of Wrestlemania - where they are so fixated on certain bad matchups that they are forced to throw together crappy matches with the good wreslers.  (Edge has to face Albert, Angle has to face Show, leaving not much for the others.)

Bill Demott squashed Shannon Moore.  Moore can have good matches, Bill cannot.  So Bill being pushed up and Shannon down pretty much guarantees more crappy matches.  Double Woohoo.

MADE ME THINK: If Dawn shows us her lesbian video of her and Torrie, doesn't that make her a instant babyface?  So its B2, not B-Squared.  What exactly does B2 mean?  Is he a vitamin?

RESULTS:  B2 beat Riksihi, Bill Demott beat Shannon Moore, Los Guerreros beat Chris Benoit & Eddy Guerrero, Crash beat Jamie Noble by DQ, Big Show & Albert beat Edge & Kurt Angle

GRADE: C+ - One match does not make a show, especially when so much of the rest of the show features skits or matches with big slow guys.  The show with the cruiserweight loaded roster gave us matches featuring Big Show, Albert, Rikishi and Bull Buchanan.  Still, a bad smackdown is still better than most Raw's.
