| December 1, 2004 ++ I had a lot of free time today since I didn't have to work, so I added a couple of updates to the site. The current "Cutie of the Month" has now changed. For the month of December it is Orlando Bloom. I think he's pretty nice looking and he doesn't seem to be one of those pretty boys from Hollywood who have their noses in the air because they're actors. I can't stand it when people are arrogant and think that their "you know what" doesn't stink but everyone else's does. I often find arrogance can ruin someone's whole outlook of a person. Anyhow, enough of that, the other updates I made were changing the calendar on the main page. You will find more images on this one seeing is that it's my favorite month. I love Winter and I'm extremely festive when it comes to the "holiday season." We just put our 12 foot Christmas tree up, so I had a blast doing that! Now comes the best part, adding all the 150 ornaments! lol Also, I will be changing the jigsaw puzzles (in the "fun" section) pretty soon. The old ones will still be in the database, so you can still play with those, but the new ones will be on the main page. I think I'll be making a blend challenge on this site for people who like to make blends. So if you'd like to participate in that, email me. Sweet dreams! |

| December 2, 2004 ++ I added another update today. We just got my neice Haley's Christmas pictures taken and I of course just have to show them off (on the main page). The first one I made is a "blend" of Xmas pics, then next one is with Santa, and the third is one that I took of her being silly with my santa hat on. She was actually pretty good with Santa, I was suprised. I thought she would have been scared but she was smiling with him and giggling, she's a nut! lol We took movies of her with him so that our family can see how good she was. Anyhow, give me some feedback on what you think about her pics. I'd love to see what you guys think of "my little sweetpea!" Gotta run now. :) |

| February 8, 2005 ++ Hi guys! Sorry for such a delay in updates. With all the holidays and going to Disneyland for my sister's birthday, I have't had much time for my site. But I'm here now, so here's what coming up. There will be a new layout coming very soon for Nikki's Nook. Expect another vintage theme. I will also be adding some new jigsaw puzzles with a different theme. And as for the blend challenge, that will also be coming soon! I had a blast at Disneyland! We got to go on most of the rides, which I love, and my neice loved it there. She got to meet Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Donald Duck, Prince Philip, & Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). We also went to Disney's California Adventure, which was pretty fun as well. I went on this one roller coaster there called California Screamin'. Oh my gosh, it is sooooo scary! It's really fun, but very scary. I also went on this new one called Soarin' Over California, which is so awesome. I didn't get a chance to go on the Tower of Terror, but we are going back on March 2, so I will be going on it then. Anyhow, I'll post another update when I update the site again. Stay tuned! |

| February 10, 2005 ++ New updates!!!! Nikki's Nook now has a new layout! I hope you all like it. Please send me your feedback on what you think. I will be posting the new jigsaw puzzles very soon as well. I found out when we are going to Disneyland again, so I'm so excited about it. I'm actually counting the days, like a little kid! lol Since I was little I have loved that place. I would love to have like a second home there. I remember when my great-Grandma told me that Walt Disney used to have an apartment on Main Street in Disneyland. That would be awesome! Plus, Main Street is so neat anyway because it's all set in the early 1900s in the Victorian era, and I love that setting they have, so it would be great to have a place there! Anyhow, I'm going to finish updating the site and then I'm going to go to bed since I worked all day today and I'm pooped! So, good night! |

| February 22, 2005 ++ Well, I just bought the movie "The Notebook" on DVD and I just got finished watching it and boy do I have the biggest headache from all the crying I did. That has got to be the best movie I've seen since Titanic & Pearl Harbor. And it was set in my favorite era, the 1940s. I love all the romance in the movie, I only wish I had a romance like that, but I'm sure every girl does. I, of course, went out right away and bought the soundtrack which I've been listening to all day! I had already gotten the book for Christmas, so I'm all set now. And oh my gosh, I cannot believe how handsome Ryan Gosling has become. I used to watch him when he was on the Mickey Mouse Club and I had sort of a crush on him then. And hey, now he's turned in to this big handsome guy, I'm in love! lol Anyhow, I hope they continue to make movies like that. I'm so sick of these stupid movies that come out where you waste your money watching them. Like, I love scary movies, but there are so many that I've spent money on to go see or rent, and I can't believe what time I had wasted. It's just so ridiculous. Well, I'll stop babbling on now, I just thought I'd share my opinion on The Notebook. I'm gonna run off and eat dinner now. Have a good one people! |

| March 16, 2005++ Time for another update! I've finally added the blend challenge I've been promising. The current challenge is The Notebook. So go apply! Also, I've added another tutorial for people who have been wanting to know how to make transparent text. It's really easy once you know how to do it. I've also added some new pictures of my niece Haley to the main page. She just celebrated her first birthday! We had such a good time with all the family here. Haley loved getting all the attention and of course, all the presents she got. I got her that new "Peek n Play Eeyore." She loves him!!!! She also got some fish. My sister & brother in law got them for her since she loves looking at fish. They named them after characters from her favorite movie, "Alice In Wonderland." There's five of them so they named them the white rabbit, the cheshire cat, tweedle dee, tweedle dum, and bill. Strange, I know, but that kid loves that movie so much!!! Anyhow, I've started a new fanlisting for you "Notebook" lovers. It's for the soundtrack to The Notebook. Please feel free to go join (http://geocities.com/always_fl). | April 21, 2005++ Just a quick post to let you all know the new updates. I've updated the thumbnails on the main page. Added new pics of friends of mine and will be adding new ones of my neice. I haven't gotten any submissions for the blend challenge yet, so come on people, join!! I've added a new affiliate as well. It's the fanlisting for the fan-site A Day Of Infamy. If any of you enjoyed the movie Pearl Harbor, then you have to visit this site. It contains lots of media and fun stuff for the fans! And the fanlisting for the site is called There You'll Be. The creator is of course moui, but you'll figure that out when you visit it. he he he Anyhow, that's pretty much all the updates I have for right now. | May 7, 2005++ Layout update!! I updated the layout a bit. You will notice that I added some little navigation buttons aside each section of the site. Not only do I think it looks better, but it also helps people see where to go throughout the site. I also joined a bunch of rotations so I can gain more hits. Enough of that now, I just found out that I am going to be hired by a real estate company to make their graphics for their business. It's pretty cool I think. I'm also going for my real estate license, so I'm going to be studying pretty hard. Real Estate is a pretty good business to get into, especially in California. Practically everyone here has their realtor's liscence. It's almost becoming a sort of "side job." I'm kind of nervous about taking the test, but a friend of mine says that it's a cinch and I should pass with flying colors! Woo hoo!
