Forsythe, Glover, and Wellington started the meet on beam. It was a weak rotation for them with only Wellington getting over 9.5.
Floor in rotation 2 went much better for them. Glover scored the lowest here with a 9.5, while Forsythe scored a 10. This was not enough to edge out Chester for the top spot, who just missed scoring 10 with a step on her bars dismount. 9.9 instead. Calibro's routine was quite rough for a 9.3. What a dissapointment after her great start on vault. Young added a silly mistake on bars to her two falls on vault but a respectable score nonetheless. Wellington's 9.6 found her sitting in a tie for second with Forsythe.
Rotation three saw another set of gymnasts struggling on beam. Young starts paying for her mistakes with only a 9.2 this time which puts her in last place with a 28.3.
Over on the vault, Wellington continues on an even keel and ties Calibro's average of 9.75. Holding onto the top spot just .1 ahead of Chester. .
In the final rotation things were scrambled quite a bit. Forsythe hits floor for a 9.9 and finally snags the lead. Chester's 9.5 is enough for second. Young, finally hitting! Scores the second perfect 10 of the meet, putting her in bronze medal position. Glover can't pick up the pace on bars and drops to 6th. Calibro equals Glover's score but doesn't topple Young. A 9.6 would give Wellington a tie for gold but she falters and topples to fifth.
