The "Estate of the Roses" as it is known in English, is set among the rolling forested foot hills and rugged Mediterranean coastline of Northeastern Spain. The villa itself is vast and built with a blend of Spanish, Roman and Moorish architecture directly overlooking a steep cliff to the sea. One can stand on its wide front entrance veranda of archways and look out the crushed limestone Rosas Road, lined with pasturelands for the horses and fighting bulls bred by the hacienda. The land offered much in the way of natural beauty and left to grow fairly wild in that state. The forests cling to the carved out fence lines and are allowed to come fairly close to the villa proper. Only the meticulous care of the grounds keepers hold the wilderness at bay. Small harbor towns line the rude roads down the coast 30 miles towards the major city of Barcelona.
Across the countryside, you can feel the tension in the air. The seeds had been planted to set Spain into trepidation, ripe for civil war for the succession of the throne. This was set into motion by the chess game played by a little known group of loyalists to the house or Bourbon. "Espinas Carmes�es" (crimson thorns) had been the players of the subversion game in other countries and once their goals were satisfied, were called home. As such, Rivan Corte Del Leon has returned to Hacienda del las Rosas to enjoy the fruits of her loyalty. However, that loyalty has been tested, her trust betrayed. Now she uses her training, talents and skills for the highest bidder.

It's Rivan's hospitality members enjoy in exchange for use of their unique skills/talents. Rivan's word is final in all decisions. The Hacienda is a stronghold for this secret society, seeking it out might grant you access to this world ..then again..maybe not. The Hacienda isnt the place you speak about at parties or among polite company. What they do is maintained and protected by the very residents. Not many know what Rivan did to gain the Hacienda..and not many want to find out.
The fundamental aspect of this room is established themed role play that includes intense situations at times. It was created to allow freedom of role play within the context of this place/time in history. The lives of the characters within should be full and rich. This includes relationships, sexual contact, an occupation and possiblty other subversive interactions.
We are welcoming of those wanting to come and find their niche within the roleplay freedoms granted here. We are tolerent to those new to a roleplay intensive environment. Please keep in mind, that no one is granted immediate full membership. Roleplayers wanting to stay are asked to submit a character bio within 3 days of observance if you want to participate in our home. Everyone is given a trial period to integrate yourself within the roleplay here. All new characters must start their stories outside the Hacienda lands. No one just shows up on the property and if you are caught, you could be killed without proper documentation or reason for being there. Membership guidelines are detailed out on other parts of the website. This ensures you are making the right choice for a home and time to find your way into the storylines in progress or to start your own.. It also provides the already established characters a chance to get to know you, and you them.
