I wish to make it clear to those who come and visit my site, that as a Jewish female I am the equal to any Jewish male. I feel strongly that every Jewish female should have the right to pray at the "Western Wall" and to read Torah there or in any synagogue she wishs to belong to. Making it a crime to read Torah or to pray in any choosen place because one one's sex is a crime towards God and humanity!!! It is a insult to all Jews that this form of HATE!!! is given tolerance and encourage in our culture. IT!!! is time we stop and look at our selves before we cry anti-Semitiam when we allow HATE!!! to blossom besides our Torah.

I was listening to one of our elders speak about dreams on this pass Shabbat. This person had to the nerve to say
"that Jew do not pay attention or place importance in dreams" As a Jew I know that Israel for many could not have come into beening, if it were not for dreams. I know that my dreams have given me courage to over come many a mountain in my personal life.
Dreams are one of the keys to understanding the unconscious mind and psyche. Our dreams can play a major role in our develpoment and healing as human beenings.
It is important that we consistantly question our elders and do not take for granted that they have all the keys to all creation. They are are mere mortals and not gods.
When I am told that I may only think in one way. I need only to take a closer look at the person who is speaking, in order to see a person who is afraid of life and who trying to use "ABSOLUTES" to control those around them in order to feel secure.

Our lives must go on but not in hate of other cultures or believes even though the aim of TERRORISM is to stop that!!. We must use this TERRORISM attack to fuel our understanding of other cultures and their spiritual believes and increase our bonds of unity and peace with them.
Every free person of mind and spirit must stand up and say NO!! to people like Osama bin Laden and his friends and put a end to them.
This attack of terrorism was not an attack on the USA but an attack on every free person: mother, children still to be born (unborn), man,women of every believe, country, state and culture all over the world. The destruction they cause is also attack on the earth and very air that we live on.
Our personal and spiritual freedom no matter were we live is what composes the essence of life or "G-d". In these trouble times our freedom is been but to the test.
Terrorism and its activities,even if you call it a Holy War is only a form of (self hate)RAPE!!!! Rape is the use of any form of force to control, another person or peoples spirit and mind,psychic, body, actions throught fear, murder, physical abuse.
I pray that each of us makes the the right choice to stop these people who deal in TERRORISM by every means we have.

Once again I must make it very clear that we should allways question our spiritual leaders and their ideas and comments on our spiriturality or any thing else for that matter!!!
I was listening to one of our spiritual leaders a week or so ago, and they were saying that it was wrong to attend a place of worship each week just for the spiritual high a person got from going. (If you know me by now, you will understand that I had to control myself from breaking out in laughter!!!)I will not bore you by going into their dull comments here on the issue.
In these darken times we live in today, any person who gets a spiritual high, lights up the world and pushs back the evil that is struggling to control it.
If you get a spiritual high it is because higher forces decree it; and no spiritual leader or person has the right to say that, the person in question is wrong. Instead we should look at the spiritual leader or person and question their intent and spiritual believes. Too often these days our spiritual leaders use their free will to ignore G-d in order to use their positions to make insane comments and judements that agree only with their inflame egos or colleagues.
A spiritual high that you get from praying is not the same as you get from Yoga for any other form of medition!!!
(I am not going to get in to explaining the different kinds of spiritualiy here.)

A Teacher's Remark

One of my teachers once remarked that the sacred text that are taught in all our places of worship should be replace with text that are more relevant to our times, for example Shakespeare. I was outrage at his statement and let him know it. I learn a lot from people that I disagree with sometimes, so I stored his comment away in a corner of my mind for future review.

I recently experience a problem doing a public presentation for the first time in a new place in another language. I manage to mispronounce almost every word due to nervous. Standing next to me was a community official who kept correcting me after the fact; they should have said to me, just relaxe instead.

I called the person the next day and tried to explain how nervous I had been and may be they could give me some tips on how to relaxe when I am using another language other then English doing a presentation. Their advice was to go back to school and relearn to speak the language and then get back to them. Just before I hung up; I said as a after thought that I have the same problems with English when I get nervous.

As I hung up the telephone receiver in a rage my teacher's remarks came back with haunting clarity. I still disagree with his remark, but only 50 percent now. All the scared text that society uses should still be taught, but we must add updated revisions to them (and that means that we must correct historical untruths and expand of scope of the multi diminision of today reality of humanity and it truths).

Today we face a maze of problems and situations that were never covered in all our holy text. When our leaders use then as a excuse to alienate or just ignore what they do and stand for in some instances to any one (people who think or act differently, people of different nationality or colour,women, the gay community etc.etc.) and act like complete jerks to the community they serve and yes I do mean serve!!! then it's time we redefine our views on all our scared text and the powers we intrust to those who serve our communities.

Will our scared text that we use in our places worship help us to achieve universal peace? I must think about that and study alot more before I tackle that question. What due you think?

Pagan Believes
On this web site I have include information on pagan believes.
I listen too a lot of people telling me about their religious believes and sadly enough they like to point to the pagan believes (with little understanding of them) and do their best to be little them as a excuse to make their own religion appear superior. They take great pride to show their hate for pagans. One such person even thought that if you had studied them that you would convert to their believes(if you do convert to their believes than I would have to question the reality of your believes!!).
When you put other believes down in order to validate your own believes you only show your ignorance and insecurities and lay the foundation for war, hate, and discrimation in all it's forms. Hate also creats metal blindness to the subject matter or people in question. Hate darkens one's spirit and soul. The person who hates is no longer in control for hate clouds all objectivity and creats a disconnection with reality.
Pagans have a great respect for the universe, women(there was also not issues with women owning land; were as in the later believes women rights to own property was taken away and they them self's wer made into property) and peace.
In almost every major religion today hate for women is stress by not teaching them, leaving their histroy, names, ideas rituals and comments out of all religious text (except if it is negative or subjective to a male will), or men take credit for their wisdom or writings.
When people express their hate for certain ideas such as pagan's religious believes
Stop!!!
and take a good long look at the person who is making the hate comments.
Not hating is a very hard thing to do but the rewards are worth the effort.

But he'll be bigger and faster and more muscular than you, he'll be really good at fighting, kicking a ball about and hunting fleet-footed ruminants, plus not altogether bad in the sack."
"Sounds great," says Eve, with an ironically raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, well. He's better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick. But you can have him on one condition."
"What's that, Lord?"
"You'll have to let him believe that I made him first." HAHA!

Reply:(Yes I am aware of this or else I would not waste my time studing them.I also find these text very mystical.)
However as a women I have seen the violence that they have inspired on women and children and war on humanity far to may times.
Last night I was was in a music class when woman commented that she read her complete religious text in English, and the commentary for it, plus all of her prayer book for the first time. I was please by her remark. What took me by surprise was the violent verbal attack by a few of the men in the room.
Yes, you guess it; with a few quick very educated remark on the religious text in question I had him and his friends backing off.
More then ever, I feel that we must add addition commentaries to the Holy text that every major religion uses today. Far to may people study religious text and never tune in to the inner depth of these mystical books.
Question: How can we have peace when the female aspect have been deleted or ommitted from them?
It takes a female and male to creat humanity. It will take male and female(wisdom,knowledge and rituals that are not created by men) wisdom and understanding to bring peace to humanity.

Torah and Prayer
I was told by RM "that the Jewish believes are base on the study of Torah above all else." That statement he made is incorrect.
Before the Jewish people had the Torah we had our personal dialogue with G-d. For those who did not know what words to use to talk to G-d, prayers were created by our teachers. The prayer were met to aid us in helping us to communicate with G-d.
Before we study Torah today as in the pass we begin by saying a prayer to G-d asking for G-d guidance in our studies. Without opening ourselves to the divine, the Torah or any Holy text are close to our spirit and souls and remains alot of words and intellectual ideas.
One of my teachers, said that we can never pray enough. In other words that we can never open our selves up in all our aspect to G-d too much. We should even pray to help us pray.........
I agree with him.
It is time, that that we remember why we attend our places of worship. We are there to open up communication with our Creator and not too upload the latest gossip, listen to the choir or the week sermon.

Doctors

One of the most common mistakes people make today is in thinking that one's doctor knows how to solve every medical problem they have.
Today more than ever it is part of the person responsiblity who has the medical problem to find out every thing they can on it. It is also important to get all the imformation on the side effects of the drugs that your doctor may tell you to take and to double cheak the facts on your own (use the Internet or cheak out the dictionary on drug that you can find in the public library or buy in most book stores).You must remember that most drugs that are use today have not been on the market for more than 10, 20 or maybe evern 30 years and the medical profession can only take a educated guess of the long term effect of any drug use on any single person.

The Pass Few Months

I wanted to write more editiorals in the few months but I did not feel inspired by ideas that were just thoughts. I wanted to do something more solid and positive with my time.
So these are the things I have been doing with my time.
1 - I played a lot of computer games.
2 - I learnth alot of new songs with friends that I like to hang out with.
3 - I learnth all about taking care of a few different kinds of rose bushes and growing tomatoes plants.
4 - I made and design and made a Torah mantle for the High Holidays for a shule I belong to (I belong to 2 shules) and I am working on a design for a second one.
5 - I took a great course called "Water from the Sources" taught by one of my favorite rabbie's.

Friendships

L.N. came up to me a few months back and ask me if were friends? To be honest I had to say NO!.(What I nelected to say for personal reasons was that maybe our relationship might turn into a friendship one day.) Why?: We never once went out for coffee or shared person information. We only would meet on social occassions and have light conversations.
L. needless to say was very upset with me but that is L. problem and not mine.

To be friends you have to know a individual. Knowing another person is a on going learning experience. It in part requires one, to be able to listen to what the other is saying and doing plus asking alot and alot of questions.
It requires that both of you open up to different parts of each other.
Friendship is the bonding of spirits and has many levels of development. There are no firm rules or reasons for the growth of friendship I have found. People with whom I have clash with or hated during the first meetings have ended up beening close to me. People who I have offer my friendship to have reject it and vice vera
Some friendships die out before they reach their full maturity.
One firm rule, that I do know is that friendships can never be force and take alot of imput.

Stress

I have been very stress out lately and I am still!!!
I haven't fealt like writing any thing new lately.
So what do I do when I am super stress out?
I agree to perform in public, singing solo.
I will be singing in front of people that I feel deeply of. The music I will sing is apart of my heart and soul but that does not stop the fear of standing there alone(I know what I am doing is insane but one only lives once or do they?). To push away the fear I am reshersing alot and perfecting every little note and syllable.
I will performing with others new soloist for the first time. We sing together as a group. It will be refreshing and exciting sing as individuals and merging back as a group.

The War In Middle East is Hard to Understand

These in short, are the facts about the struggle that Israel is now facing.
JEW AND NON JEW ALIKE, IT DOES NOT MATTER. Please read.
NATIONALITY and JERUSALEM.

Part I(by Cantor M.)
1. Israel was a Jewish state already in the year 1312 BCE, two thousand years before the emergence of ISLAM.
2. Arab refugees in Israel started to identify themselves as Palestinians - only in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the state of Israel.
3. JEWISH RULE IN THE LAND prevailed since the year 1272 BCE and lasted for one thousand years. There was continuous and uninterrupted Jewish presence in the land ever since for 3300 years.
4. JERUSALEM THE CAPITOL, was forever the heart of the Jewish people. Jerusalem was never considered the capitol of the Palestinian Authorities. Even the Jordanians, when conquered the city of Jerusalem did not make it their Capitol. Arab leaders never visitedthe city.
5. ARAB RULE over the city lasted only for 22 years after the Muslim�s Conquest in 635 CE.
6. JERUSALEM is mentioned in the BIBLE over 700 times. It is never mentioned in the Koran.
7. KING DAVID founded the city, MUHAMMAD never stepped foot on its soil.
8. JEWS PRAY facing JERUSALEM. Muslims their backs away from Jerusalem in prayer.
9. REFUGEES ARABS AND JEWS. In 1948 Arab leaders encouraged the Arab refugees to leave Israel. They (leaders) promised the Arab world to "purify" the land from its Jewish inhabitance. 68% of the refugees who ran away never saw an Israeli soldier.
10.JEWISH REFUGEES had to flee their homes because of persecution racism and violence from their Arab neighbors.
11. REFUGEES � In 1948 the numbers of Arab Refugees fleeing from Israel was estimated to be 630.000. The same amount of Jewish Refugees is estimated to have fled the Arab co were not absorbed in Arab Lands in spite of the enormous territories of the Arab world. Out of 100 million refugees all over the globe since the Second World War, The Palestinians are the only group of refugees who have not been absorbed within their own people. All Jewish refugees have been absorbed in Israel successfully. The entire state of Israel is not larger then the state of New Jersey.
13. THE ARAB ISRAELI STRUGGLE � The Arabs have eight states not including among them Palestine. There is only one Jewish State. The Arab initiated five wars and lost.
Israel defended itself and won.
14. The PLO covenant still calls for the destruction of the state of Israel. Israel gave back to the Palestinian authorities most all of the West Bank territories and gave them autonomy under the government of the Palestinian Authorities. Israel supplied the Palestinians weapons and ammunition.
15. JORDANIAN RULE � During the Jordanian rule over the city between 1948 � 1967
THE Jewish Holy places were desecrated and Jews were refused access to their Holy places.
Under Israeli sovereignty all Holy places of any religion are respected and are kept open to all faiths.
16. ISRAEL AND THE ARABS AT THE UN. Out of 175 Security Council resolutions until 1990, 97 � were against Israel.
17. Out of 690 General Assembly�s resolutions until 1990, 429 were against Israel.
18. UNITED NATIONS WAS SILENT - when 58 Synagogues in Jerusalem were destroyed and desecrated by the Jordanians.
19. UNITED NATIONS WAS SILENT � When the Jordanians methodically and systematically destroyed and desecrated the most ancient Jewish cemetery on Mount of Olives.
20. UNITED NATIONS WAS SILENT - when deviating APARTHEID POLICY which forebade Jews from approaching their Holy Sights and the Holy Places of worship. These are horrible times.

We must ask ourselves now what are our obligations. What will we tell our grandchildren we did at the turning point of our JEWISH destiny? Do we have a chance to make a difference?

Part II(I wrote this part)

1. In all the Arab states public schools, high schools, universities it is writtern in their text books that they are to hate Jew. There text books state that Jews are behind all the problems in the world. This pass Friday evening when Barbara Walter on "20/20" (the TV show) confronted Arab goverment official they did their best to advoid making strong comments about correcting this problem.
2. Palestine school books do not mark "Israel" on the maps instead the area that is Israel is labeded as "Palestine"!!!. Geographical features in Israel are also labeled Palestinian; for example: "among the famous rocks of southern Palestine," the text states, "are the rocks of Beersheba and the Negev." Charts and student exercises list Jerusalem and Nazareth as Palesinian cities.
3. Arab grade 9 religion testbook states that "One must bewrare of the Jews, for they are treacherous and disloyal."
A Arab history textbook made this comparison: "The clearest examples of racist belief and racial discrimination in the world are Nazism and Zionism."
A literature reader for eighth-graders states, "The Jews claim that [the Western Wall] is one of the places beloning to them...but this is not so."
A 7th grade Islamic religion text states bluntly: "Muslims must protect all mosques...and must wage a jihad both of life and property to liberate al-Aqsa Mosque from the Zionist conquest."
4.Palestinian and Arab claim that the Jewish occupation of Israel causes terrorism is wrong because prior to the beginning of Israeli control over the West Bank and Gaza as a result of the Six Day War of June 1967 and before the establishment of the State of Israel on May 1948, they were committing acts of terrorism from 1920 on ward.
The Palestinian stepped-up their campaign of terrorism on the eve of the UN Partition Resoulution of November 1947, and led to the joint Arab invasion of 1948-49 with made the delineated of the newly establish Sate of Israel

How can we have peace in the middle east when the Palestinians and Arab nations are only taught to hate Jew from the time they learn to walk and talk???
I am a Jew however and therefore I will continue to hope for peace.
This earth that we all live on is over 6 million years old but we only live for a partial milla second in that time frame.
Our world leaders of every kind should reflect on that fact.

The War Between Iraq and the United States and England

I am dismayed by this war like every one else in this latest war between with US, England and Iraq.

I find it total insane that a countries like the U.S., England with all their resources and brain power; that they have at there disposital that they could not figure out a way to get reach their objective through peacefull means. What it does prove however is that having all the education, resources and brains in the world does not make one smart or wise.

I do however agree that now that the war has begun that the United States, England must continue untill they win. If the U.S., England etc. pull out before the finally victory there will be only more greater violent and war in the future. I know a lot of people will disagree with me but this is a primal rule in conflict once it reachs this point of conflict.

The U.S., England may win this war but:
1/ it will loose it's respect as a peace maker in the eyes of the world.
2/ they have shown the world that real power in the US, England is not the people or goverment but the mega corporations
3/ this brings up other issues. The most note worthy one is how will they dealt with other countries in the world that are facing major conflicts of violence in the world?

We most also look at this conflict in the greater prespective of history and the develpment of humanity. This war is part of a great war that began ages ago. Namely the war on humanity ability to raise its consciousness to a higher level on a physcial, spiritual, mental and conscience level!!!!
