| There exists a surreal world of beauty and intrigue that is only open to the souls to those in the most realxing of states, sleep. This is what is known as the dreams world, Nightopia. Sleeping humans come and go, but the world is constantly inhabited by cheerful creatures known as Nightopians. Wiseman, as he is known, creates an army of Nightmaren to help him achieve his ultimate goal, to dominate Nightopia. Of these Nightmaren, two in particular stand out: NiGHTS and Reala, the two first class Maren... What Wiseman wants is the power of the Ideya: drea, energy which every human being possesses. There are five different types of Ideya, each representing a different attribute: White (purity), Green (wisdom), Yellow (hope), Blue (intelligence), and the rarest one, Red (courage). The Red Ideya is the one Wiseman desires, and he's finally found two children that possesses it... ...Elliot Edwards and Claris Sinclair, two troubled teens from the beautiful city of Twin Seeds. Elliot Loves basketball, but after being humiliated in front his friends in a game against some older kids. Claris loves to sing, but blows her first break because of stage fright in the Twin Dreams audition, and ends up running off stage. Although they don't realize it yet, these two both possess the dream energy of courage, all they have to do is unlock it. Wiseman orders NiGHTS to retrieve Elliot's Red Ideya. NiGHTS refuses, and is subsequently imprisoned in Ideya Captures. He is later freed by Elliot, and sets out to find Claris. With the aid of NiGHTS, Claris and Elliot defeat Wiseman, saving both the dream realm of Nightopia as well as the real world. In doing so, they also discover the courage that was in them all along. As for NiGHTS, he is finally free! |
