Nightfall The Film
Overview
Set at a party in Antelope
Valley, California, Nightfall focuses on a group of naive, yet determined twenty year
olds through their
struggle with their relationships, environment and
individual vulnerabilities. The film closely follows three young women
and their emotional encounters with their boyfriends, friends, and party
goers. Ending on a disturbing note, Nightfall will leave the audience
to decide the true strengths and evils of these young men and women as the
encounter drugs, sex, and abuse in the desolate desert party setting.
Main Characters
Anna - A disturbed young woman who is in an abusive relationship, she realizes her self worth and is looking for someone to cherish her and treat her with respect.
Laurie - A confused, yet spiritual twenty year old who is dependant upon her relationship with her boyfriend, and struggles with the fact that she cannot love him in return.
Jessica - A slightly obnoxious and misplaced teenager who ends up at the party attempting to fit in with an older crowd, she is naive and in over her head.
Sam - A slick conniving twenty year old with an eye on all the women at the party. He serves as a sharp contrast to Ian.
Ian - A nice guy, who is just too nice and struggles to break out of his emotional shell.
Dino - An outspoken guy who gets too drunk and thinks he can convince the rest of the group that he has the answers to life, while at the same time being mean, rude, and sick, but somehow people seem to be drawn to him despite his obvious flaws.
