The Ancient Times Duology takes place in Alexandria and Rome and is a converted story of Queen Kleopatra (that is the proper greek spelling of her name.) It is based largely off of the excellent books Kleopatra and Pharaoh by Karen Essux. Eternally Yours, My Love tells of the infamous romances Kleopatra - Kagome - had with Caesar - Inuyasha - and Marc Antony - Sesshomar -, or her struggles to hold a failing kingdom together and to thwart riviling sisters, of to put her son Caesarion - Shippo - on the thrown and to unite the most powerful kingdoms in the land, against exetreme odds.
My Daughter, Beloved takes a different approach, delving into Kagome's childhood and the dangers being the younger sister of Thea - selection unknown yet - and Berinkie - unknown yet - posed. The favorite of their father, the clever child ran amok, disguised in the market place. She spoke mulitple languages at age three, was a blessing to her father, speaking Latin, at age fourteen when she was sent into exile, and predicted to be the queen of all Egypt. She just barely got the chance....
