RULES
VI. NIFFL 2005 Regular Season Schedule - 12 Team League
A. The NIFFL will have a 14-week schedule matching NFL weeks 1-14
B. Teams will play each non-division rival once and division rivals twice

VII. In Season Rules
A. Weekly Lineup - Each teams active weekly lineup must consist of 8 players & 1 defense.  Positions played must be as follows: 1 QB, 2 RB�s, 3 WR�s, 1 TE, 1 Kicker, 1 Team Defense. There is no tiebreaker during the regular season.
B. Lineup Submission - Each owner must access the NIFFL Website and submit their starting
    lineup no later than 15 minutes before the 1st NFL game each week with his lineup*.
Failure to do this will result in using the prior week's lineup.
*The deadline will normally be Sunday morning.  However, remember that there are certain weeks with Thursday and Saturday games!  For these weeks you must provide only players for early games in your starting lineup, then balance on Sunday for that NFL week can be changed up until 15 minutes prior to gametime.
C. Reporting Scores - The Commissioner.com NIFFL website will serve as the official site for statistics.  After all games are completed each week, you must contact your opponent to review your scores.  All discrepancies should be resolved at this time. The winner should then contact the commissioner.  Should any score remain disputed the commissioner will resolve using official stats from the NFL.

VIII. Trade & Waiver Rules
A. Trade Deadlines - Weekly trades may be made from Tuesday at 12:01am through  Thursday evening at 11:59PM.  All trades must be recorded on the website no later than
    11:59pm Thursday evening.  Trading will be suspended after NFL week 12 this season.
Note: For weeks with Thursday NFL games - the trade deadline will be Wed. at 11:59PM.
B. Trade Approval - All trades are subject to the commissioner�s approval.  This is to  prevent dumping from 1 team & overloading another team.  Any trade questioned for this  reason will be voted on by the 9 owners (no commissioner) not involved in the trade.  The  trade will go into effect if it receives unanimous approval prior to the 1st game of the   upcoming week.

C. Waiver Deadlines - All players to be claimed on waivers will be handled by the CBS website.  Rosters will be frozen following NFL week 13, meaning up until the start of week 14 - no waiver claims in playoffs.

IX. NIFFL Operating Fees
A. Transaction Fees - all Trades - Costs each team $2.00 per player involved
Example: Team #1 trades 2 players to Team #2 for 1 player
Trade costs for Team #1 = $ 4.00 - traded 2 players, must pick up player on waivers
Trade costs for Team #2 = $ 4.00 - traded 1 player, must waive one player
Note: Team #1 must also pick up 1 player on waivers.  Team #2 must waive 1 player.

B. League Administration Fees
$50  will be used toward the NIFFL administration fees. The remaining transaction fees - will be split between the Superbowl winner (80%) and Loser (20%).

X. NIFFL Playoff System
The 3 Division Champs plus a Wildcard team (best record of 4-12) will play in the �Superbowl�.
The 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th place teams will play in �WannaBeBowl�
The 9th thru 12th place teams will play in the �Toilet Bowl�

1. Head to Head Record
2. Division Record
3. Head to Head Point Differential
4. Division Point Differential
5. Overall Point Differential
6. Season Point Total
7. Coin Flip
Tie - Breakers for Wildcard Team
1. Head to Head Record (If teams are from the same division)
2. Head to Head Point Differential
3. Division Record
4. Record versus other two Divisions - 8 games
5. Season Point Total
6. Coin Flip
During NFL week 15 - the Division Champ with the best record will play the Wildcard team.    *If the Wildcard team is from the same Division as the team with the best record, it will play the team with the next best record in the first round.
  The remaining 2 Division Champs face-off -  5th vs. 8th; 6th vs. 7th; 9th vs. 12th & 10th vs. 11th.
During NFL week 16 - the week 15 playoff winners meet in the NIFFL Bowls.
