"Greetings, my name is Winston Grifface, God of War & Conquest.. I was a devote follower of Nuada, the former God of War. My family has sat upon the throne of Arcian for over five centuries and continue to rule even now. I also helped forge the country of Griffonholm, when the lich took over the throne of Arcian and expelled all the King's Knights, of which I was a Lord Knight. As a King's Knight I devoted my life to serving the throne of Arcian and also to Nuada the former God of War. I have fought many glorious battles against overwhelming odds, only to rise from certian defeat to triumph. In my early years as a knight I was slain, along with many others by a mage named Thax, when he sent a trio of ghosts to slay those of us that were good. But many years later Nuada awoke me to continue the fight against evil, and I served for many years, never stopping to raise a family. I became a Lord Knight in the King's Knights, even turning down the rank of Duke to stay closer to the battlefield. Eventually I was rewarded for my devotion by ascending to the status of God of War replacing Nuada after his death in the God War.. |
