A little note:
These pictures are sent to us by
the people themselves whom we have helped. Unfortunately, we did not
own any pictures of the minorities in Vietnam :( We will try to do so
in December (it is when we will support some minorities families).
Events pictures are taken by Niem
Tin members ... Enjoy yourself! Unfortunately, we forgot to take
pictures of all the events in 2003. So, starting from 2004, we will
try to remember to take pictures of all events that we will have :)

NIEM TIN DONATING MONEY TO
VINH SON CHARITY ASSOCIATION, MAY 2004
With many
people in London, CANADA, Niem Tin donated $150 out of $500 in total
to Vinh Son Charity Association in Nam Dinh, Viet Nam. The $500
that we sent helped 62 poor families and individuals. Here are
some of their pictures!
NIEM TIN GENERAL MEETING,
JUNE 2004
We were
discussing about having new events ... Events that will let other
people get to know more about Niem Tin. At the meeting, Niem Tin
also welcomed two new members: Monique Huynh and Cuong Nguyen.
SPRING DANCE 2004
This was
Niem Tin's very first dance event! Yet it was a great success.
We raised more than $400 CAD. Thanks for those who come out and
support us! Hope to see you next time :)

WESTERN VIETNAMESE STUDENT
ASSOCIATION SEMI-FORMAL 2004
It was an
awesome day! In the morning, Sang, Tuyet, and Thuy Hanh woke up
very early (about 7:00) to go the FARM MARKET to get the roses.
Afterwards, they came to Sang's house to wrap up those red roses!
They were very niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! At the semi, Thu Hien
and Minh Hanh were our roses "sellers". We raised about $145
(more than what we have expected!) What a great evening we had!
All the roses were sold out! wow! awesome hey!
HELPING POOR CHILDREN IN
VIETNAM, 2004
The
picture you will see below is a picture of the children (whom we have
helped) and their parents. From what we heard, each child get
$20. We gave money to brother Phong. Afterwards, he sent
it to a priest (who stood at the right hand side in the picture ... he
wore a violet shirt) He did try to send two thank-you letters to
us, but somehow, both got lost (a wrong address???!!!! uhm ...)
HELPING PEOPLE WITH
ILLNESS IN VIETNAM, 2004
They were
people with illness that either cannot be cured or can be cured but
they don't have enough money to do so. Some of them cannot see,
walk properly, or need to stay in one place. Added to that,
there are some who cannot control what they do ... Therefore,
Niem Tin sent $150 to support them in medicines cost or any other
things that they need.
NIEM TIN VERY FIRST
OFFCIAL MEETING, 2002
At the
first meeting, we were discussing about our FIRST EVENT (of course!
hehehe) which is selling food at VSA Thanksgiving Dance! During
that time, Niem Tin only have very very few members ... and here they
are!!!!!! hehehehe
