My Fan-Fiction
Here is where you'll find my fanfiction that is far from being done. I'm not very big on fanfix, because I don't have time to read crappy stories that claim to be fanfiction but aren't. The only fanfiction I've read is the SM trilogy by Janelle, which I thought was very good, although somewhat lacking in character development.
FOREWORD: Fanfiction is an original story based off something already published (usually anime/manga/movies). It is NOT a crossover and NOT a story that you created just so you could add in a character like yourself or a character you'd rather have fall in love with another character or something.
Examples of things that AREN'T fanfiction (I'll use SM in all of these, since my story is SM):
1. CROSSOVER: Sailor Moon meets Tenchi (from Tenchi Muyo) and falls in love with him.
2. [insert your name] enters the story and becomes a Sailor Senshi too!
3. Chibi-Usa is actually Prince Demando's daughter! Usagi dumps Mamoru and marries Demando.
Also, I HATE it when people write fanfictions and don't follow the original story at all. When you write a fanfiction, you're not supposed to change any of the original characters' personalities! Usagi is ditzy! She's not suddenly going to be a straight A student!
And another thing: I think you can't really write a good fanfiction unless you enjoy writing in the first place. I wrote novels before I even knew of anime, so I'm experienced in writing.
Now that I got all that out of the way, now I'll start talking about MY fanfic -- Sailor Moon Z. It is not a cross over, it is not a copy of Janelle's SMZ, none of the characters are me, and I don't change any of the original characters' personalities. I tried to stick to the story the best I could, and make it in the exact same way a Sailor Moon story would be. Some things are odd though, because I'm not an expert of Japan, so I don't know how their school system works and stuff. But I made up for that by making their school system be half American and half Japanese. I can do that, because SMZ takes place in the 30th Century, when California and Japan are supposed to be connected (it IS predicted by scientists). The basic plot is: The Zodiac Senshi are reincarnated on Earth, and fight in place of the original senshi (because they're old and retired) and Chibi-Moon. And the reason they replace her, well, she's sort of . . . unavailable, as you'll see once you read the story. This story follows the manga version of SM, not the anime version. So the chapters are in acts, not episodes. Obviously since it takes place in the 30th Century, these acts would follow after manga book #18.
Without further adieu (sp?), here they are. And this story won't be complete for awhile, because they take so long to write, and my life is busy. (There are supposed to be 12 acts total when I finish.)
