| Anmarie looks like Chibi-Usa (I purposely put a grown up picture of her to show that Anmarie isn't childish) and acts like Miaka (from Fushigi Yuugi). | ||||||||||||||||||

| Anmarie is my fourth brain. She came to me on the second to the last day of sixth grade in mid-June 1998, almost a year after Dulci came. That June day was when I first saw an original Japanese anime -- not dubbed, not subbed, but *raw.* It was Sailor Moon of course. I saw the end of the S and Stars episodes (Mistress 9 one and Galaxia one). All thanks to Sabrina, whose house I was at when I saw it; she saw how I stared awestruck at the television screen, so she let me borrow one of her raw SM videos -- S-Super S. When I got home, I watched the whole tape -- seven hours straight of SM all the way to 10pm! Obviously, Anmarie is the side of me who is obsessed with anime and manga. History: In Bytamic Niarb times, her name was Sai Meichikage (Sai for Sailor, and Meichikage means dark earth shadow). In Dacs, her name changed to Annemarie or Annmarie (I forgot which one); I renamed her to be associated with all anime, and not just SM. Then in Nidarcs Shama, I shortened it to just Anmarie because . . . well, the shorter, the better! Association: anime Color: light pink Song: "Haruka" by Pierrot (ending theme for Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne) and other anime songs (yes, pretty much all of them describe her/me) Personality: Anmarie is caring, understanding, considerate, sympathetic, romantic, etc. Likes: RPG games, and anime and manga of course! Favorite anime shows (I won't list manga because I haven't read enough to know): Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres, Tenkuu no Escaflowne, X, Earth Maiden Arjuna, Serial Experiments: Lain, Inuyasha, Kodomo no Omocha, Trigun, Please Save My Earth, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kino's Journey, Scrapped Princess, Full Metal Alchemist, Paranoia Agent, Haibane Renmei, Tsukihime Lunar Legend, Elfen Lied, Shadow Star Narutaru, Eureka 7, Nana Seven of Seven, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Ima, Soko Ni Iru Boku (Now and Then, Here and There). Dislikes: mecha anime, dub-haters, 3d animation, people who hate anime, yet have never given it a chance; anime fans who try to *become* Japanese by forcing themselves to like sushi, and other things to feel Japanese; so-called anime fans who lose interest by moving on to J-pop and J-rock; fans that claim to be a die-hard fan of a certain show and then soon after a while (like in a year or so), they don't like it at all. |
