Special Stitches:
Sh {shell}: (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in same sp.

Foundation: Ch 3, dc in 3rd ch from hook, (ch 5, dc in 3rd ch from hook) 11 times. [12 loops]
Round 1: Ch 3 {counts as first dc now and throughout}, dc in last loop of foundation, (ch 2, 2 dc in same loop) twice, (sk next 2 ch, sh in next loop) 10 times, sk next 2 ch, (sh, ch 2, sh, ch 2, sh) in last loop. Continuing around the foundation on the opposite side, (sk next 2 ch, sh in next loop) 10 times, sk next 2 ch, (sh, ch 2, 2 dc) in last loop. Join with hdc to top of beg ch 3. [26 sh]
Round 2: Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same sp, (sh in next ch 2 sp) around. Join w sl st to top of beg ch 3. [30 sh]
