The Mount of Olives
Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.  As he approached the Mount of Olives he sent two disciples ahead of him.  He told them, "Go into the village straight ahead of you.  When you enter you will see an ass tied there which no one has ridden yet.  Untie it and lead it back.  If anyone should ask you why you are taking it, say, "The Master has need of it."
They went into the village and everything was just as Jesus had said.  They led the animal to Jesus, and laying their cloaks on it, helped him get on.  The spread their cloaks and reeds which they had found in the fields on the road as he moed along.  As he was descending from the Mount of Olives, an entire crowd of people began to rejoice and praise God.
The Betrayal
One of the twelve apostles, Judas Iscariot, went to the cheif priests. The priests had been plotting a way to kill Jesus but were afraid to do so during the Passover Festival because they feared a riot.  Judas agreed to betray Jesus by watching for an opportunity when no crowd was present.  They paid him 30 pieces of silver.
