These are all from a trip to Kalalau I took on June 1st 2001.
First day, we took a boat in early in the moring.  Goats everywhere.  I planned not to shoot anything the first day but with so many goats everywhere, I couldn't stand it any longer, so I climbed up into the valleys above the beach and eventually got a huge 18 inch billy weighing over 100 pounds.
On the morning of the second day, I went over to the Mahiki flats.  Goats everywhere.  I Made a 25 yard shot at a good sized billy which jumped the string but the arrow still hit in a way that it angled forward into the lungs.  The second goat was 15 yards away and I hit way too far forward but spined him.  Spent the next day smoking meat.
On june 4th I finally bumped into this huge billy which we had been seeing each day on the cliffs above camp.  After a stalk I made a 15 yard shot and hit the liver.
Horns measured 27 inch Tip-to-Tip.
My biggest goat to date.
