The Ialian Police Trade Union CONSAP(Confederazione Sindacale Autonoma di Polizia) constiuted in Rome on june 1999, in short time ha become one of the most representative police trade union of the State Police in Italy.
Since the Union was born it has found, just in its obstacles and battle, the capacity of projiect and strenght for demonstrating the quality of his carachter on pursuing finality and objiectives on the general interest of police officers of the State Police of Italy.
The Italian Police Trade Union CONSAP is one free association, indipendendent and non-party that among its scope, is that of maintain for the police trade union its natural and
original confederal aspect and of indipendence.
The model that CONSAP inspires is that of one police trade union of value and of the rights, and has among its objectives that of guarantee one real transparent participation of the State Police Officers at the processes of change of this delicate sector of the State.
On may 14, 2003 it has undersigned care of the Ministry of Public Service the national contract of employment for the italian police forces.
In the last year the Italian Police Trade Union CONSAP it has signed the agreement care of the Home Office for the distribuition of the resourses in reference to the unique fund for the efficiency of the institutional services and has signed the agreement for the revision of the institute of the allowance of function.
It participates with the rights of consultation care of the Presidency of the Council of Ministry in vew of the elaboration of the financial legislation and put itself as attentive interlocutor in reference of the processes of reorganization of the italian police forces and of the career of italian police officers in the compartment of security.
The CONSAP Police Trade Union adheres to CESI (European Confederation of Indipendent Trade Unions) and the Europan Confederation of Police EUROCOP.
In the year 2003 it has been constituted the CONSAP PENSIONERS, that joins on quiescence the personell of the State Police of Italy and the NATIONAL CENTER OF STUDY where are cooperating eminent professors from the university.
