| Chapter 46 After two weeks in St. Thomas, Gwen and Nick had renewed their bond with eachother; and more importantly, they had gotten married. Rather than get in touch with their families and friends, they decided to wait so that they could enjoy eachother without pressure. The couple also made a few important decisions while they were gone. First of all, they decided that no matter what happened, they would only release one wedding photo to the press. They wanted to keep their special moment of love private, one photograph was being generous as far as they were concerned. Secondly, they decided not to "try" to get pregnant. Instead, they decided that they would continue on the way they always had, loving eachother, and if a baby came for them it would be regarded as a blessing, just as the last one had been. Afterall, it is what got the two back together. Nick looked down at a sleeping Gwen as the airplane was landing in Dallas. "Honey, we are landing, your parents are going to be waiting for us." "I don't want to...I'm tired." "Sweetie, I know you are but you have to wake up. You are going to need to be on your toes the next couple of days." "No, I want to go to back to bed, and you should want to come with me," Gwen replied as she pulled him towards her and started kissing him. "Gwen," Nick whispered as he felt Gwen grab his package, "Ah...honey, we are not at home." "Huh?" "Baby, we are on an airplane." Gwen's eyes fluttered open with a look of confusion apparent on her face as she looked around the first class section of the plane, "OH...I thought we were someplace else." "I wish we were someplace else," Nick said as he felt Gwen squeeze him thru his khakis a final time before leaving a soft kiss on his lips. "Shit, we have to have all of these important talks today too...why is it that you let me get completely relaxed and then bring me back into stress, don't I get a weening period?" Laughing, Nick replied, "Gwenny, it won't be bad...my parents knew my intentions. We just have to tell your folks and make it official with mine. The guys had an idea too, don't worry. After we are done with this part we can go to our house in SF and just be us." Gwen got an icky look on her face but it softened up after Nick told them that they could be alone soon. Deciding it was finally time to face the music, Gwen started waking up. She knew that her and Nick could make it thru anything together, telling her parents would be a cakewalk in comparison.
