Caitlin Dillon is a senior majoring in public relations with a minor in psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. She expects to graduate in December 2006.

She interned at Pennsylvania Power and Light (PPL) in Allentown, Pa during the summer of 2006. She worked in the Information Services and Development Help Center, creating employee communications and newsletters, maintaining technological database information for the company, updating business continuity materials, and creating web designs for new product launches and services.  Her other related work experience includes designing and launching promotions for the Centre Volunteers in Medicine of State College, Pa to promote their “Give Kids a Smile” campaign in November of 2005.

At Penn State University, Dillon has earned Dean’s List every semester. She was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, a freshman honor society, in December 2004 and into Kappa Tau Alpha, a communications honor society, in April of 2006. Dillon is a member of the Campus Crusade for Christ movement, leading other students and serving on the worship team. She served as a team leader for the university’s Fresh Start program to provide community service opportunities to entering freshmen, and she volunteered at the House of Care, an assisted living facility in State College. She is also a member of Oriana Singers, a university choir.

She was born in Waltham, Mass on Feb.18, 1985. Dillon moved to Bloomsburg, Pa in May 1986. She attended school in the Central Columbia School District.

In High School, she was a member of the National Honor Society, student council, and the Spanish club. She served as editor for the school literary magazine and as an officer for both the school chorus and the Youth Alive program. She was a member of the track and field team and played varsity tennis. She participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association district, regional, and state choral festivals. She also addressed her class during the school’s 2003 graduation ceremony.

Dillon was an active member of her community, helping a local church food cupboard at Saint Columba Parish and earned her Girl Scout Silver Award for coordinating a food drive for the same organization.
