~~~~Tell Me Why~~~~
Chapter Five
"What? 25 million? We're worth way more than that!" AJ burst out as soon as the door closed behind the man.
"You've got to be kidding, AJ." Brian said. The rest of the group just glared at him.
"Well, we are." muttered AJ, under his breath.
"AJ, aren't you the least bit scared about any of this? This is serious trouble here." Nick asked quietly.
"Hell yeah, Nick. I'm scared. But they can't know that we're scared, that's the thing." AJ looked over at Nick, who appeared very pale and was visibly shaking.
Kevin noticed AJs look and glanced over to Nick as well. "Hey, little bro, are you doing okay? he asked.
Nick looked up at Kevin slowly. "Yeah, I'm okay." he said aloud. To himself he thought "I'm just scared as hell, is all. There's no way we're gonna get out of this."
Meanwhile, the gang was sitting in the kitchen discussing their venture. "Who's the girl?" asked Dean.
"I think she's the girlfriend of the first one we brought in, at least she was there alone with him." said one of the gunmen.
"Well, this could prove very interesting." Dean mused. "I wonder how much they would pay if we had videos of the Backstreet Boys in compromising positions?"
"You mean them and the girl..." asked one.
"Of course," Dean scoffed "She's not worth anything to us alone, but with one of them, doing whatever we order..."
"At least we'll be entertained" leered another man.
"Yes, very entertaining" smiled Dean.
"But, they'll never go along with that willingly. How are we going to make them?"
"Well," said Dean, tapping one of the many weapons on the table in front of them, "We have certain methods of persuasion, don't we?"
Two of the gunmen walked into the room and went over to Aileen and started to untie her.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"Where are you taking her?" shouted Kevin, struggling against his restraints. "We're the ones you want, leave her alone!" As one man escorted Aileen out of the room, the other walked over to the still struggling and shouting Kevin and punched him in the stomach.
"What's going on?" Aileen repeated to Dean, after she was taken into what appeared to be a bedroom.
"Well, my dear," he said as he sat next to her. Aileen noticably cowered away from him and this made him chuckle softly. "These guests of ours, your friends, may be here for some time. They will need to be entertained. I don't think my friends or I will live up to any of their expectations." He looked her up and down. "But, you certainly should."
Realization dawned in her eyes. "You don't expect me to.." she couldn't bring herself to finish the thought. Small tears started to form in her eyes. "They can't be serious!" she thought to herself. "They can't honestly believe that any of the guys would go along without a fight." She was certain of that and took some small bit of comfort in that thought.
Dean studied her terrified face. "We'll be ready shortly, you might as well prepare yourself." he said. She shook her head and he grabbbed it with one hand and squeezed it tight. "You will do it - and so will they." he said bluntly and left her in the room.
