I Wanna Love You Forever
This story takes place approximately six monthes after Guilt and Forgiveness.Helen is trying to move on with her life, and seems to have done a pretty successful job of it, when she has an unexpeced visitor.
Helen woke up with a start, from the same dream that had haunted her for the past 2,000 years. She could see the face of Aikaterna, the young wife of Methos who perished at her jealous hands, and the innocent child whom she had slaughtered in a jealous rage. She saw the face of Methos, the man that she had loved more than life itself and whom she had betrayed. She saw brief glimpses in her mind of their encounters over the centuries, their battles, how she had ran for her life more than once, had nearly been killed, and probably would have if it had not been for a mortal getting just a little too close to the fighting in 1806, or the last encounter, strangest of all, the day he showed her mercy. She had not been able to get it out of her mind. She would never have expected in a million years that such a thing was possible. Methos had finally managed to forgive her. She was grateful to Macleod for being their for them both. It was not any easy position she had put him in, having to find out, from someone other than her, that she had one killed an innocent mother and child in a jealous rage. But he had been wonderful and handled it quite well. "Why didn't you tell me, Helen?" Duncan asked her once he had finally gotten her alone and out of danger. "I was afraid of how you'd respond if you knew." Helen said. "You should know me well enough to know that what you were will not impact how I feel about you. What you were is not nearly as important to me as what you are." Duncan responded. Previous Next
