Armand left his silent reverie and enter back into reality, when  he turned around, he saw that the beautiful Miriam was standing there.
"Hello, Amadeo." She said with a little smile.
"Armand."  He said. "I go by that now."
"A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet."
"And have just as many thorns with which to contend."
"Is that a threat?" Miriam asked matter of factly.
       "Just a warning." He said.
Miriam walked up to Armand, brushing her icy cold fingertips against the Botecelli Angel's smooth skin.  Then she brushed away a strand of his hair, and whispered in his ear.
"Hit me again, and I'll rip your face off." She said as she planted a sweet kiss on his lips.
Armand grabbed her arm, and for a moment was tempted to strike her, but was so charmed but her forwardness, and had so missed the warmth of her lips, that he pulled her to him and returned the kiss, quite passsionately.
"Miriam I'm sorry. I was angry, and I don't know what came over me."  He said as he let her go gently.
"You were out of line, Armand." She said
"It won't happen again, Miriam. I swear." He said.
"Your damn right it wont." She said. "Because I am not going to allow it."
"You have one chance and one chance only to prove to me  your not a helpless jerk. The next time you hit me, Armand will be the last. Got it?"
          "Yes, Miriam."
"And rememember Amadeo, we have all eternity."
