| Mannering Towery was the 2nd child of Edward and Elizabeth. He was born ca. 1798. He married Winnifred "Winnie"_____. I am unsure what Winnie's maiden name was. It is believed she came from Jamaica. They settled in the Pendleton District of South Carolina. Mannering and Winnie had the following children: i. Jacob Towery b. 1798 ii.
