Judith Olsen Shellenbarger
Attended New Paltz State for one year. Was married in 1961. Lived in Teaneck, NJ. Was widowed in 1968, at age 26 (3 children). Moved to Santa Ana, CA in late 1969. Married a widower (Native Californian ) with 2 children in 1970 ( will be married 33 years May 2003 ) Lived in Vista, CA for years....then hubby transferred to Colorado, then back to Hemet, CA.Graduated from Mt. San Jacinto Community College in San Jacinto, CA with an A.S. Degree in Nursing. Continued attending college, and only needed about 8 units for B.S. (could never get re-motivated, tho ). Retired from nursing due to injury, and changed careers after moving to Palm Springs, CA. Worked for the Palm Springs Municipal Court as a Traffic and Criminal Court Clerk.
Hubby was transferred to Washington State in 1997...so we moved to Port Orchard, WA. He's a Construction Project Manager, and he/we travel quite a bit to all the western states...the latest being Albuquerque, N.M. ( Rio Rancho area ) where we lived for 5 months last year.
We have 15 grandchildren...scattered from CA to WA. The oldest is 20 and the youngest is 8. We live on 5 acres, about 20 miles south of the town of Port Orchard, and we love it ! Been trying to find my old "pals" Connie O'Keefe and Lois Parietti. I found Ginny Partridge on this site, so that was a nice surprise!
Just recently have been in touch with Eileen Goldblatt (by e-mail) We were room-mates at New Paltz State. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me!
