Married 35
years--28 of them to my current wife (and my last), Christine.
After six years in the Navy (diver, Explosive Ordnance Disposal) I got
my act together and began teaching. Retired from public school in
'97, and am now teaching (English) in Poughkeepsie Day School.
One son in Haverford College, a daughter in Georgetown; two daughters
by first marriage--Megan, a musician in L.A., and Caitlin, a management
consultant in London.
Have recently been in touch with my fourth grade teacher at Liberty
Street School, Fotena Zirps, via Herbie Swain, who tracked me down through
AOL.
Despite my seeming indifference for the past half-century, I have recently
been subject to overwhelming attacks of nostalgia, and would love to hear
from others. Over the years I have touched base with Dave Palmer,
Dan Menaker, Semo Sennas, Georgie MacGregor and one or two others, but
only briefly and intermittently. I'm ready for a reunion (although
I might have to appear in disguise until I could check everyone else out).
