For anyone interested in joining Beta Club this semester, your application is due at our next meeting on October 5. If you have any questions, talk to one of officers and we will try to answer it.

The Senior Beta Club is an academic-leadership-service organization for students in grades 10 through twelve. Its purpose is to encourage effort and reward achievement, and to promote those qualities of character that make for good citizenship. Beta serves to encourage and assist its members to continue their education after high school.

Requirements for membership:

• Maintain an 88 cumulative average
• Perform community service activities

Dues:

• Yearly - $10 fee for local use (new and returning members)
• One-time - $15 fee to join the National Beta Club (new members only)

Junior beta

The Junior Beta Club is an academic-leadership-service organization for students in grade 9. Students that were members at the middle school level are automatically placed in Northview's Jr. Beta Club. Its purpose is to encourage effort and reward achievement, and to promote those qualities of character that make for good citizenship.

Requirements for membership:

• Maintain an 88 cumulative average
• Perform community service activities
• Membership in Junior Beta during middle school

Dues:

• Yearly - $10 fee for local use
