North Henderson wrestling concluded to 2008 season at the state wrestling tournament. For the second year in a row, the Knights failed to place an individual, but some steps are being made in that direction. Our qualifiers got great experience for the future and we look forward to a bright offseason and summer of wrestling.

Knights Finish 5th in 2008 Regional Tournament!
North Henderson wrestling made dramatic strides from last season, qualifying four individuals to the 2008 State Tournament and finishing 5th place at the 1A/2A West Regional Tournament held at North Henderson High School. Congratulations to the 125 lb REGIONAL CHAMPION Enrique Vera. Also, congratulations to the other state qualifiers: Sterling Ducker, 2nd 135; Nick Heim, 3rd 130; and Zack Barber, 4th 103.

Knights are Conference Champions!
North Henderson won the Conference Wrestling Tournament held at East Henderson on February 2. The Knights were led by Conference Champion and All-Conference wrestlers Zack Barber (103), Sterling Ducker (135) and Luke Bradley (171). Runner-up wrestlers included German Ramirez, Brant Harris, Enrique Vera, Nick Heim and Cherokee Ducker. Great job in winning our second Conference Tournament in three years.
