* Thses rankings are the subjective opinion of one man. Don't take them too seriously. They are meant to be a fun way to track teams. They are by no means perfect or scientific and keep in mind that ultimately the only thing that matters is what happens in that circle on the mat.

Jan 30 Update (Conference Tournament/Pre-Dual Team Rankings)
Team (Last Ranking) - Notes

1. Enka (1)- They will win a pretty good MAC Conference. WNC's best shot at a Dual Team title.

2. North Buncombe (2)- Team good enough to win a couple of matches in the 3A State Dual Team tournament. I would not take them lightly.

3. Pisgah (4)- 5-0 in the WAC. Young team that has wrestled well when it counted.

4. Madison (5t)- sort of under the radar, but winning lots of matches in the WHC. This team may surprise some people.

5. North Henderson (NR)- Knights are kinda surging here at the end. Second in WAC.

Honorable Mention (in no particular order):  Brevard, Robbinsville, Tuscola, West Henderson

*Note: These are overall rankings, with a slight emphasis on dual teams at this point. Though some teams like Brevard and West Henderson may not be the strongest dual teams, they have the potential to excel at large tournaments.
