Black Adam was picked by Shazam to be protector of Egypt. The power eventually corrupted him turning him into the sworn enemy of the Marvel family. He has powers similar to that Captain Marvel.

The head sculpt was originally intended to be a Jack Nicholson Joker. Half way through the process I saw Shadows of the Vampire and decided that Willem Dafoe would make a better Joker. Rather than waste the sculpt, I modified Jack's head to resemble Black Adam. I added a kink to his nose, protruded the chin and changed the smile to an maniacal grin. There's still some traces of Jack if you look really hard .... especially the forehead and eyes in the middle picture.

The body is one of my modified type 2. Black Adam is exactly 9" tall (1:8 scale of 6'0"). The outfit is lycra and the boots are silicon/ lycra hybrid.

Adam also has my new neck joint system. It offers a range of motion comparable to Dragon figures. It's still not as good as a real human, but at least look forward when he's flying.
