Not happy with the way your FC Type2 male body looks? Below are some of my quick remedies to improve the overall aesthetics of the type 2 body.

Pects: Toybiz pectoral are too small especially for a body of that size. This can easily remedied with Magic Sculp implants. Dremel away the first set of abdominal cubes. Add Magic sculp and shape the contours of the pect. Reference materials for pect can be obtained from muscle magazines or watching WWF wrestling. HHH, IMO has the ideal pects for a large superhero like Superman or Batman. I added some nipples to this body .... all these years under the influence of Jimbob has finally gotten to me :-). The character I plan to make is bare chested so I felt it was necessary for realism. For clothed superheroes, I wouldn't recommend sculpting nipples. It doesn't look right under a lycra suit.

Abdominals: who needs the Ab Roller when you have Magic Sculp? For this figure, I opted to extend the abdominus rectus down towards the waist. While this does reduce the range of waist articulation, I felt the trade off for aesthetics was more than worth it. Besides, the hip joints and legs can compensate for loss in the range of motion of the ball waist joint.

Deltoids: TB cheapness is very evident here. Instead of molding a larger ball for the type2 male shoulders, they recycled the male type1 shoulder ball. It looks a little odd on the larger arms, but righ tnow I'm too lazy to fix it. Maybe when I start my Superman project, I'll replace the entire shoulder joints. However, for this project, I made some simple superficial modifications to replicate the contours of the detoids.

Waist: I can't emphasize this enough ..... you NEED to increase the width of the waist with Magic sculp or epoxy. Without this addition, the type 2 body will have an hourglass shape figure, which isn't very pretty for a bulking hero.

Thighs: Magic sculp can be added to the inner thigh. If your character is bare legged, add about 5mm worth. If he's wearing a spandex outfit, reduce this by 1-2 mm. You also need to add Magic sculp to the back of the legs. It wouldn't look right if you just added to the inner thigh and not the back of the legs. The amount of musculature you sculp is up to you, but for a spandex wearing superhero, you can cheat and do a minimal sculpt. I normally increase the back of the thigh by 25-30%.

Optional: for tall characters like Martian Manhunter or Superman, I recommend cutting the thigh at the midpoint. Insert a nail or pin an lengthen the thigh accordingly. For this body, I added 4-5 mm to the thighs.

Lower leg: again, some poor anatomy decisions by TB. Add Magic sculp and increase the gastronemius (calves) by 30-40%.

Optional: if you lengthened the thigh, you also need to lengthen the shin. I added 2-3 mm to mine. Remember, the femur (thigh bone) is longer than the tib/fib complex (shin bone).

Optional #3: since this body was lengthened, I also recommend adding Magic sculp to the crotch area. This will increase the length of the axial skeleton (from neck to tail bone) and prevent your figure from looking lanky or "all legs".

Again, everyone will have their own personal preference of musculature, but I feel that that the additions to the pects, abs, waist, thighs and calves will give this body more heroic (not to mention human-like) proportions.
