An Inner Look at Me...

Hello friends!  Let me begin by telling you a lil' bit about myself.  My name is Jasmine and my Vietnamese name is Ngoc.  I have lived in the U.S. since I was 4 or 5 years old...so it's been about 20 years now.  I originally lived in San Francisco, CA when I first came to America for 4 years.  Then, I moved to Seattle, WA with my family and lived there for 15 years.  I recently moved to San Jose, CA in October 1999 by myself (for work). Although I am very Americanized,  I am also VERY dedicated in keeping my Vietnamese heritage.  I still speak, read, and write Vietnamese.  I am a big believer in keeping my "roots," therefore...I strive to keep my heritage and culture strong.  Many people have asked me if I am mixed or "lai" because I do not look full Vietnamese.  But, I can proudly say that I am 100% Vietnamese...born in Saigon, with both 100% Vietnamese parents!  hehe...!  I am now 25 years old and was born on September 8, 1976.  (The year of the DRAGON!) I am the oldest in my family with a lil' sister named Tracy, who just turned 14.  (We are 10 years apart in age).

I am currently working full-time as a Legal Secretary for one of the top Corporate/Litigation law firms in the Silicon Valley.  I LOVE to dance but haven't had the time to do much of that lately. I haven't been to a club in awhile, although I used to be a regular going every week! I think I'm getting old...hehhe.e...! I also enjoy going to Cafe's and karaokes, but haven't gone to those in awhile either!  In my spare time, I like to make little crafts, read books, write poems, and listen to music.  Hmm....what else would you like to know?? Well, you can always email me because I also really enjoy making new friends of all genders, races, and age groups!

I hope you enjoy my homepage and as you go deeper....you will be able to get to know me better.  Since this is MY homepage, I would like it to reflect ME...and who I am ...and what I'm all about.  If you are the type of person who does not like to read much, then you can check out the pictures in my photo album instead.  Hope you enjoy!     *Muah!*
