Tips for Reading Information

Fill out your KWL chart first.

Identify Key Words

Write down the name of the source and the website when you first access it.

Use the Key Words as you Skim And Scan

Take Notes in the "L" column.

Taking Notes

1. Put pencil or pen down!
2. Select section to read.
3. Read
4. Think about what you read.
5. Now, pick up your pen or pencil & write what you think.
6. Write only important
7. Do not use sentences!
