No, actually hes my uncle. My parents died a long time ago when I was only a tiny kid, just like you. Say, do you have a middle name? I ask and she looks at me a little shocked at the question.

No. Just Isabel Evans. Why? Do you? She asks back, knowing that I want to tell her mine. She probably thinks Im a freak and cant wait till I leave.

Yeah. Its Vilondra. Her eyes go wide and I can sense some type of negative, scared vibe coming my way.

Vilondra? She responds as quickly as I say it. She wants to know if I said it right.

Yeah, Vilondra. After my Aunt Vilondra, my dads sister. You look shocked, is something bothering you? I ask innocently.

Uh um n..no. Nothing at all. Whwhere does your Aunt live? She stutters.

Oh shes dead too, along with her husband. Why? Does this sound familiar to youVilondra?

Isabel froze in fear, not knowing exactly who this girl was.

Who are you? Isabel asked cautiously, not able to move any part of her body.

Im your niece. Tell me, how much do you remember? Aubrie responded. Isabel looked at her, bewildered.

My niece? As in Maxs daughter? Isabel tried to get this strait.

Max? Max! HES my father?!? You mean the quiet guy with the brown hair? Aubrie asked.

Yeah. Hes my brother. Remember? Im youre aunt, which makes your father my brother. Isabel pointed out.

Where is he? Aubrie asked in a hurry. Once she knew who her father was, she wanted to see him right away.

Hes in his room, sleeping. Look, I dont know if you want to see him right now. I think we should have some things explained first of all. Isabel said.

Okay. Im your oldest niece and I came to Earth to search for the royal four. I have a little sister who is 3 years younger than me. Her name is Ava, after mother. My real name is Vilondra, after you. I live in the palace, where Ive lived my entire life. Kivar rules Antar and also acts as my father. After he killed the royal four, he took Ava and me with him and raised us as his own. She stopped after that to let it all sink in for Isabel. Is this too much for you?

No, no not at all. Please, tell mewhat was I like? Isabel asked.

You dont remember? Isabel shook her head in response. Yes! It worked! Vilondra praised herself.  Well, you were beautiful. Even more than you are now. You were the envy of every Antarian woman. You ruled along side my father when he became king, even though general Rath was second in command. You fell in love with Rath and after a couple of years, you two got married. Everyone loved to see you and uncle Rath together, so you made many public appearances. You became known very well throughout the galactic empire and made a very good name for yourself. You had a loud voice for many topics that came up and you were often the head of a great debate. But.then it all ended. When Kivar took over, he had a public execution of the Royal Four. I never saw you die because Kivar had taken Ava and me inside the palace already. It was the saddest day in Antarian history. Aubrie explained in a melancholy voice near the end. You dont know how much Antar has suffered since you died. Its been awful. Ive been fortunate to live in the safety of the palace my whole life. But the people live such meaningless lives. They starve and have no jobs. All they do is wander around the streets, begging the soldiers for food. Its horrible.

Im so sorry you had to grow up that way. We had no idea. Im sorry, but I just cant get myself to remember any of this. Isabel was angry with herself to not being able to remember. She wanted so badly to help her niece, but she couldntat least not with the past. But she could help her with NOW. Would you like to meet your father?

Yes. Vilondra nodded timidly. She wasnt sure how shed react when she would see her father. How many lonely nights had she dreamed of this moment? Far too many to count.  Isabel led her out of the room and down the hall just a few feet to another door. She knocked on the door and then walked in. His lamp was on and he was reading a comic. Good. Hes not sleeping. Boy, I hope he can handle this news with everything else. Isabel talked to herself.

Hey Max. UmIve got someone very special for you to meet. Isabel held out her hand, motioning Vilondra to walk in. Lonnie did as she was motioned and walked in. She stopped when she locked eyes with Max. Max this is Vilondra.your daughter. Isabel tried as best she could to not to make it sound so sudden. But nothing she could have done couldve prepared Max for what he heard.

What do you mean? My daughter? Max asked, not knowing what Isabel was talking about. He looked at Vilondra, trying to see some similarity, but there wasnt really any. She had strait blonde hair like Isabel and deep blue eyes like Tess.

She came to me today and told me that I was her aunt. That means youre her father. Isabel explained. She gently pushed Lonnie closer to Max. Say hi. She whispered to the scared girl.

Hi. Lonnie said quietly. Father? Are you really Zan?

Yeyes. My name was Zan. Max didnt know what to say. He was so exhausted from tending to Tess all day that he could barely keep his eyes open. He didnt even know if he was dreaming or not. Are you for real?
