OK, I would like to get down to my reviews and comments on games now.

First off I would like to agree with the games Dr. Dawg picked and I wish to add a couple.

I love the Samurai Shodown series and I will for ever love the Dawg playing Samurai 2 at the arcade and as much as I love sam3 and 4 I still give the upmost props to SAM 2.

As for RPG's. Lunar, all the Final Fantasy's, Ultimaz, they're the schtuff.

Shooters???
Driving games???
I'm still in love with Sega Rally, Road Rash (3DO),and one of the hardest games in the world Star Control 2. And just think Dr.Dawg beat in 3 days. No sleep for that man. [N8 Note: Bilky still owes me $20 bucks on that one!!] I will get to fighting games in a little while after I give you my soul on the cutting board.

As for the new systems, lets talk the big 3 . I hate you Nintendo.. You suck ass and I hope you get dry-boned for all eternity for the BS games you have. I own one N64 game: Killer Instinct Gold...That is all I can say for that door stop of a system. The only good thing that ever came out of my N64 is, that my boy N8 got my truck and I know it has done him good. I love you Capcom Truck!!!!

Sony you have a couple good things going for you. I had my doubts about you in the begining. But you have pulled through... with the help of Capcom, Square, Konami, Midway, and some others you have, your gig together . Can't wait to see your new System.

SEGA I think you guys rule I play my Saturn more than any other system.... So they might be imports , who gives a rats ass when they are the best games. Thank You Capcom for hanging in there to make some of the best damn games in the world. Long live SEGA.

I have to at least say that me Neo Geo still kicks . Not too many games but hey the system floats by.

And now my inside Job on FIGHTING GAMES, the hearty beef of the gaming world for me.

This is moms play house so step off and lick'em. And if anybody touches my Son or my New daughter in law, It's on!

1.Fatal Fury
2.Street Fighter 2
3.Mortal Kombat 2
4.Samurai Shodown 2

All the good stuff from the very start for me! All good must play games to understand the roots of fighting games.

As of the present day there is alot of lousy games trying to copy other fighting games. So you can rent games and find out the bull or you can buy them all and never play half of them. Here is a list of my top games I play every weekend.

  • Rival Schools:
    Kick ass...Capcom..gotta love it. Mad combos, sweet supers, and extra chewy hidden stuff like mini-games. I know the poly's are not that good and you get an nasty break up every once in a while, but the gameplay is there. Controls wonderful. Good endings
  • Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha:
    This game still has some gas! All the goodies and Capcom controls. Sweet (and Chainable) Supers.
  • Guilty Gear:
    Hey I dig it, not a great frame rate but still fun and fast to play. Cool metal music make you want to HeadButt somebody. Instant kills, hidden characters, fast action and insane juggles. Bobby loves this game.
  • MK4:
    I like the blood??????????
  • TEKKEN 3:
    Damn where do I start, this game is Loaded it has a little of every thing. So deep it's a must buy! Want a little secret? DO NOT play Dr. Dawg, he will kill you at this game he has madd doggy skills.

    That's it for the Play station games.

    Now for the Neo Geo-Stylez!

    • Samurai 2, 3, and 4:
      They all get played at my house! Sweet moves, skilled gameplay, best control, "Smack yo Momma" supers, good endings, and great characters. "Bust yo lip" sound. These games get the Numero Uno Stamp of Approval on the Neo Geo.
    • KOF 97:
      Can you say deep? Have fun trying to learn all the supers. Perfect arcade snizzumz. Good sound, cool backgrounds and team-mates to choose. Make this game a House Party!
    • Last Blade:
      Alot like Samurai. Nuff said.
    • Fatal Fury Real Bout 2:
      Two new characters, no blood, and no ring outs. But you do get to line change! New school Fatal Fury, I Love It!
