WORKING WEIGHT PULL DOG

Heaviest Pull 714 Kg

Tia was Certified Working Weight Pull Dog by the American Staffordshire  Terrier Club of S.A on the 28/05/2005 she is now the first Amstaff bitch in South Australia and to-date only the 2nd Amstaff  Female in Australia to have gained such a Title under I.W.P.A rules. In her debut season she has not only gained her W.W.P.D but is a consistent  top 3 place getter in her weight class.

Pictured above and below is Tia a 22Kg Female showing her excellent pulling technique, head down low to the ground leaning forward into her Harness as to take the weight of the load on her chest and shoulders. A low pulling angle enables the dog to use their power more affectively and to control the load.

Tia has the look of a little Angel, but get her in the weight pull  chute it's a different story, she can certainly turn heads with her heaviest pull to-date being 714 kg and her best ratio of 32.75X

This girl has certinally got what it takes,  with an excellent technique, big heart the attitude drive and determination for which our wonderful Amstaff breed is reputed for .

I'm very proud to say that the present and future generations of
Nganjalu American Staffordshire Terriers
have become, and will continue to be a competitive and respected force throughout Australia for many years to come in the highly addictive sport of Competition Weight Pulling .
