Located on the Avalon Peninsula, 2 hours west of the capital city of St. John's , this winterized house is located outside the town of Placentia which was once the French capital of Newfoundland . The house is located in the village of Big Barsway which is only 15 minutes from the town and 20 minutes from the Nova Scotia ferry service.
The house itself sits atop a huge cliff . The 1 1/2 acre of property offers total privacy with lots of space for your kids as well as your pets. Sit on the veranda and look out onto Placentia Bay. Watch for the Nova Scotia Ferry to pass by, see local boats , foreign trawlers and if you are sipping on our famous NEWFIE SCREECH , you may be among the few who actually see a whale or two.
The house offers sleeping space for seven , a full bathroom and a unique kitchen . A full supply of bath and bed linens are at your disposal. If you feel like cooking a little, the kitchen is very well equipped. A gas barbecue is provided as well. Telephone available for local calls.
House rents on a cash only basis. Enjoy for $550.00 CDN per week or minium two night stay at $250.00 CDN , three night stay $350.00.
