JP: Its that time of the show now when we will find out exactly what Naz wants to do with this shot at any man on the NLR roster.
Sully: I think theres only one logical answer of exactly what Naz will do.
JP: You reckon?
Sully: Troy Knight.
JP: After that run-in at the party, I think Naz was left a littlered-faced.
Sully: John, please dont try to be
[Sully is cut off as Heart of Asia blasts from the PA system and the crowd explode in excitement as strobe lights flash red and white across the jumping fans. Naz walks out from behind the entrance curtain and looks up at the NLR banner above him, he walks down the entrance ramp and he nods at the mixed reaction he is getting from the fans.]
JP: This man really crosses the line, on the one hand he is loved by those who are NLR convertsthose who want to take the company forward. But he is hated by those, a large number of people, who are MWF revivalists, people who are still fixated on what used to be.
Sully: I think everyone just needs to let go of the MWF, its time for NLR now.
JP: Its not the Next Level, its the now!
[Naz reaches the ring and the crowd watch as he hops between the ropes, and steps into the ring. He is approached by a stage hand and passed a microphone, the music starts to fade as Naz paces around the ring with the mic in hand.]
Naz: Thank you, thank you. Im sure, all of you have any sense will understand why I have come out here tonight. In the NLR, we are always pushed to take it forward, to take it to the next stepto that other level. I felt I should be out here, not just to announce who I will face from the NLR rosterbut also to contribute myself to the show, to be a part of it.
[This gets a positive reaction from the fans, a lot clap and cheer for Naz.]
Naz: I dont keep myself away from the NLR, as if I am something other from it. I can name a few of the men on the roster who do that kind of thing, men, and perhaps women, who think they are something more, something better. There are people who talk of their past accomplishments and dwell on them, never looking to push forward and reach that next level.
[There is a more mixed reaction from the fans, the mood in the arena is starting to get a little sour towards Naz.]
JP: I think I know exactly what hes getting at.
Naz: Troy Knight, youre the prime exampleheld up before everyone of how to take wrestling to the next level of entertainment. But, now you are resting on your laurels. Last week, you saw something special when you saw me take on and win the battle royal. You made it to the last few, and for someone with such a poor record as of late thats impressive for you. You were however, eliminated, and Troy no matter how much you say it, I won that match, it was my victorynot your loss.
[Naz stops, and takes a deep breath as he stops near the side of the ropes where the entrance way is.]
Naz: I promised, that I would take you onin the ring, in NLR, and show you exactly what wrestling is. I wanted to put aside all the sports entertainment nonsense and take you to the level you used to be at.it may be a tad predictable, but that is what I would like to use my any match, any time clause for!
[The fans explode at the prospect of Naz and Troy facing off in the ring, man to man, one on one.]
Sully: I knew it, he had to face Troy Knight.
JP: But when? He hasnt said when!
[Naz waits for the crowd to dampen down, and they gradually do as the excitement wears off. Naz raises the mic to his lips once more.]
Naz: I want you Troy Knight, in a straight out wrestling contest. There will be no gimmick, just four turnbuckles, a ring, and a set of ropes, and a referee. Pin falls, submissions, disqualifications, we will wrestle like our fathers did. And, to be kind to you Troy, I am going to give you a chance to get yourself in shape for this match, because we will be having this matchat Once Upon A Time In Mexico!
[The fans cheer loudly at the announcement as Naz laps up the atmosphere in the ring, before making his final statement.]
Naz: August, Troy Knight, you have until then to get yourself readyand we will take it to the next level.
[Naz drops the microphone and Heart of Asia blasts through the PA system once more.]
JP: What an announcement!
Sully: Once Upon A Time In Mexico and we will see Troy Knight and Naz, in the ring at long last.
JP: Thats a long time to wait.
Sully: Perhaps we should call it A Long Time Until Mexico?
JP: Now theres an idea!
