Human (Quip)
An off shoot from the basic human population, this group has the same physical range as Humans do.  However, they are shape changers.  During adolescence the must choose a non-magical animal to bond with, this animal usually reflects the appearance or diposition of the character.  The animals gains the life span of teh character and the character can take the form of the creature at will.  The animal must not remain captive and usually does not stay with its bonded Quip, but they do however, have a permanent psychic link that relays to the ther when one is in mortal danger.  If one of the two is hilled the other does not die; the other is no longer a whole again, however.  As they become older they may master the ability to control their transformation so as to partially change from.  Their average lifespan is about 170-190 depending on the creature bonded with.
  (CS) Wild West
During the Wild West many types of lycanthropes come to the main continent.  As they did this Quips took the opportunity to join in.  Blending in with the groups of lycanthropes (werewolves and such) Quips found it easier to explore the world further.
Human (Psionic) or (Psi)
This reclusive race of humans is the only group on the planet to have psionic powers naturally.  They have formed their own communities as they frighten most other races and are feared for their powers.  They sometimes travel alone outside of their groups, but they will do everything they can to hide their true nature, including making the powers seem to be magical.

(CS) Apocalypse
During the era of the Apocalypse the Psi grow in number and some turn their powers towards evil.  This causes the Psi to be hated even more.  Even though, the large number during this time make it inevitable for Psi to meet others somewhere in their adventuring. The Psi are also parrticularly good at detecting those who are actually magic users and sorcerers; as they have been desguising themselves as such since the Golden Ages.
