The Earth Charter was meant to be a globally important document to all people on Earth, arising from the hopes and best vision of all people But it emerged to some significant extent from institutions  and summits  that, though well-intentioned, often were organized by, comprised of or exhibit, as do much of the world's official and corporate management, a significant imbalance of gender toward many more men than women, and whose current officeholders do not come close to representing the approzimately 50-50 balance of gender of the world population. This  about 50-50 balance of gender already exists on the global intercommunicative internet, which inherently transcends -regional-national and continental boundaries and links consciousness everywhere on Earth.  Therefore, women and pro-women men of loving spirit and good will around the world have contributed to a more whole and universal online revision of the original Earth Charter (at www.earthcharter.org and several other sites), which itself, to its credit, invited additional input and dialogue, and here receives such. Much of the wording keeps to the original version, but there are significant  additions and changes to reflect the urgent necessity of highlighting the essential importance of real gender partnership in decision-making to sustainability and peace culture at this time, to define what is true government for whole human beings in a time of crisis that also presents the ultimate possiblity and opportunity for embarking on real sustainability, and to reflect the context of the Whole Earth as a home planet of a much greater Universe that beckons humanity to harmonize its activities with Highest Universal Consciousness in order to joyfully sustain the planet and allow it to successfully explore its place in the Cosmos.
