Gibraltar

In August 2002 I went to spend a week in the south of Spain (Cadiz).
Since the 18th century, the British have a territory of about 4x4 km
located in the Gibraltar peninsula. There you find a huge rock, from
where you could control visually the whole entrance to the Mediterranean Sea.
The funny thing about Gibraltar is that you have to pass a passport control to
get in and everything consumed in this tiny territory comes from England.
Below you see "the rock" from Spain and then you see me in the top of this
rock full of monkeys!

These are Mahoney, Andrea, Maria and Miguel right in front of "hte Rock".

Below: From up there you can see the whole Gibraltar strait and
even can see Morocco (20km across the channel).
Take a look at the mountains in Africa.

Below: There are monkeys still living in the top of Gibraltar.

Below: This is the city of Gibraltar from the Gibraltar rock.
At the background you see Spain.

Below: The main street of Gibraltar. Many Indians and Jews
have commerce there. There are 4 synagogues and 2 Hindu temples
in the city. Everybody speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
