Germany

In 2000 I went to Germany to visit two cousins living there.
I flew from Madrid to Frankfurt to visit my cousin Carolina in the
close city of Wiesbaden and took a train to Munich to visit my cousin Gisele.
In Munich I enjoyed the Oktoberfest (the beer party) and went to
visit the concentration camp of Dachau. Germany is beautiful and
people much nicer than I imagined (many people say Germans
are cold but this is not true at all). Check it out the pictures.

Below you see me in Wiesbaden with my cousin Carolina and her
daughter Luisa. In the next picture I am in the precious local City Park.

Below: This is the main gate of the Concentration Camp of Dachau.
It had capacity for 10.000 prisoners but they use to keep 20.000 people there
during the war. This Camp became known for its scientific and medical
experiments with prisoners. In the gate you still can read the
sign "Arbeit macht frei", "Work brings freedom".

Below: Oktoberfest !! The beer party in Munich is amazing.
If you try to follow the Bavarians you certainly will get drunk.
Each mug contains 1 liter of beer. How many times would you be able to
refill it? By the way, the bread signs "Spatzl I mog di" which means
"Honey, I like you" or something like this (in Bavarian).

Below: In this picture you see the party and Munchen from an observation wheel.
