Colors
Just cause I’m white
Don’t mean you gotta hate
Just cause you black don’t mean I gotta
debate.

It don’t matter to me
Whether you black or white
But just cause we different colors
Don’t mean we gotta fight.

I
f you having problems with color
Just think about Martin Luther King
And remember what his speech was
About how he had a dream.

So let’s do him a favor
And make his dream be right
Cause I may be white and you may be black
But that don’t mean we cant unite.
My Father

To tell you the truth
I don’t know who my dad is
But at least he’s better than my mother
He tried to take care of his kids.

My dad has five kids
And lost his job
I hope they’re not at home
Having corn on the cob.

At least my dad is kind enough
To actually come and see me
Oh, I forgot
It was court-ordered for him to be.
I’m not his only problem
I can guarantee you that
While he’s out there working his butt off
I’m trying not to get fat.

I just want him to know
He’s better than my mother
But why can’t he be
Better than my brother.
My Father

To tell you the truth
I don’t know who my dad is
But at least he’s better than my mother
He tried to take care of his kids.

My dad has five kids
And lost his job
I hope they’re not at home
Having corn on the cob.

At least my dad is kind enough
To actually come and see me
Oh, I forgot
It was court-ordered for him to be.
