Colors
Just cause Iím white
Donít mean you gotta hate
Just cause you black donít mean I gotta
debate.

It donít matter to me
Whether you black or white
But just cause we different colors
Donít mean we gotta fight.

I
f you having problems with color
Just think about Martin Luther King
And remember what his speech was
About how he had a dream.

So letís do him a favor
And make his dream be right
Cause I may be white and you may be black
But that donít mean we cant unite.
My Father

To tell you the truth
I donít know who my dad is
But at least heís better than my mother
He tried to take care of his kids.

My dad has five kids
And lost his job
I hope theyíre not at home
Having corn on the cob.

At least my dad is kind enough
To actually come and see me
Oh, I forgot
It was court-ordered for him to be.
Iím not his only problem
I can guarantee you that
While heís out there working his butt off
Iím trying not to get fat.

I just want him to know
Heís better than my mother
But why canít he be
Better than my brother.
My Father

To tell you the truth
I donít know who my dad is
But at least heís better than my mother
He tried to take care of his kids.

My dad has five kids
And lost his job
I hope theyíre not at home
Having corn on the cob.

At least my dad is kind enough
To actually come and see me
Oh, I forgot
It was court-ordered for him to be.
