Colors
Just cause I’m white Don’t mean you gotta hate Just cause you black don’t mean I gotta debate. It don’t matter to me Whether you black or white But just cause we different colors Don’t mean we gotta fight. If you having problems with color Just think about Martin Luther King And remember what his speech was About how he had a dream. So let’s do him a favor And make his dream be right Cause I may be white and you may be black But that don’t mean we cant unite. |
My Father
To tell you the truth I don’t know who my dad is But at least he’s better than my mother He tried to take care of his kids. My dad has five kids And lost his job I hope they’re not at home Having corn on the cob. At least my dad is kind enough To actually come and see me Oh, I forgot It was court-ordered for him to be. I’m not his only problem I can guarantee you that While he’s out there working his butt off I’m trying not to get fat. I just want him to know He’s better than my mother But why can’t he be Better than my brother. My Father To tell you the truth I don’t know who my dad is But at least he’s better than my mother He tried to take care of his kids. My dad has five kids And lost his job I hope they’re not at home Having corn on the cob. At least my dad is kind enough To actually come and see me Oh, I forgot It was court-ordered for him to be. |
