Some Band History
Rick Roman Jr. started experimenting with New Wave, Heavy Metal Techno, industrial muzik in the Chicago ILLINOIS north west burbs. Rick Jr. was styled with bands from Wax Trax muzik and other goth muzik. Rick Jr. named the endeavor "Society Mode", with tape versions (A Taste of black) and (So Red A Revelation). The tapes were a mix of strange muzik and words. A collaboration of early recordings with High School friends and experimental muzik.
The endeavor was lacking a good name. Rick Jr. started looking through some of his favorite bands in his personal tape collection and found the bands NEW ORDER and INFORMATION SOCIETY. Rick Jr. formed the name New Society from both band names.
In the year of 1990, the endeavor was changed and became a band. Rick Jr. named the band "New Society". James Wayman, a friend of Rick Jr, quit his band "AWAYKENING" and started working with Rick making muzik. Rick found a drummer named Dennis Linn. Some new songs were put in the (So Red A Revelation) tape, and some future "New Society" tapes. The old "Society Mode" tapes were renamed "New Society".
Sometime after Dennis had gone from the band and started college. Rick Jr. and James then used a drum machine and accomplished the "New Society"(True Faith) tape. Near the same time James started college, yet when home from School, James worked in the studio with Rick. Sometime after, Eric Reinke and other muzishans started working in the studio .
In the year 1998 the studio was destroyed, some of the old muzik was destroyed and parts of the new muzik. Rebuilding the studio took a few years, and Rick bought his first computer in the year 1999, a big change in sound, and better then tape.
The things Rick hates about computers is things named "Wizard", and Rick hates the computers of evil men that could slave mankind. Let us have a NEW SOCIETY with Jesus Christ as our King. (YE.SHUA MA.SHI.ACH / MESSIAH)
