I think that sounds like a good idea, Haylie said.

Brian sat her down on their bed; he went into the closet and grabbed one of his button-down dress shirts.  When he came out, Haylie was putting her hair up into a ponytail.  He took the towel from around her and helped her button it, but was interrupted by a knock on the bedroom door.  Come in, Brian said as he buttoned Haylies last button, leaving the last three open.

Nick came in, Hey guys, Kevin and Sara are downstairs.  They brought dinner and movies over for us, and D and Bone are on their way.

Can you have Sara come up here? Haylie asked.

Babe, are you sure youre up for all of this? Brian asked.

Yeah, I mean Im sure theyd understand, Nick added.

No, Ill be okay.  I cant stay holed up in here forever.

Ill go downstairs and get Sara for you, Nick said as he left the room.

Let me find something for you to put on under your shirt, Brian offered.  Im sure a pair of my boxers would be pretty comfortable, dont you think?

Yeah, that would be great, she smiled.

Baby, I wish youd do that more often, Brian said.

Do what?

Smile, I love to see you smile.  Brian helped her put his boxers on.

Hey there! Sara said from the doorway.  I hope Im not interrupting anything, she grinned.

No, Brian responded.  I dont know what she thought shed be interrupting, Brian thought to himself, but quickly shook the thought away.  Look, Ill leave you girls alone to talk, Brian said kissing the top of Haylies head.  Ill be downstairs if you need me.

Sara walked over to Haylie and gave her a hug.  How are you sweetie? she asked.

Honestly, you would think that I would be the happiest person in the world, her voice trailed off.  I mean, I live in a beautiful house, I have a gorgeous man who loves me an respects me, and I have awesome friends, but Im too scared to be happy and enjoy it all.

Haylie, youve let all of this consume you, you cant live with all of this forever, Sara replied.

I know, its just so hard to forget everything thats happened.

Before Sara could respond, Brian and Kevin were standing in the doorway.  Are you ladies ready for dinner? Kevin asked smiling.
