Just wanted to share a bit about our week 5 meeting at our home.
We had 7 attend the meeting last night, and we all had a wonderful time sharing about ministry, gifts and abilities. It amazed me that some thought they had no gift at all, well, the rest of us took this opportunity to point out some very important gifts and abilities they thought that person had. This was encouraging for the whole group.
I found that as much as I dislike speaking in public I can do it. I had not signed up to be a facilitator, just a host, but circumstances led me to facilitate over the last few weeks. I am thankful for the encouragement I received from everyone in my group and the format that is given in the worksheet and video.
Where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there, Amen. The importance of small cell groups within the body of Christ is so important. It brings a closeness and sense of belonging that cannot be done in a large group or church setting. I look forward to another 40 day campaign in my home soon, because there is so much that we are just touching the surface on.
Last night at the Home Meeting held at Irvin and Carol Scarbrough�s home, Laveena Chitwood shared a dream she had earlier in the week: She said she was outside the church and �Bill� was there cutting in a new road with heavy equipment. She said the church was surrounded by a forest and there were small pieces of wood lying on the ground. She took the pieces and stacked them in small piles. She had turned away from the small groupings of stacked wood and though she didn�t see it, she could hear the wood crackle and snap as it lit on fire. At that point she said she woke up and heard an audible voice from God which said, �I sent my Word and healed them.�
I immediately knew what God was showing Laveena. She asked me what I thought it meant. I told her I saw it directly relating to the small group meetings we were having during the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign. The small piles of wood were the small groups. The result was that the people involved were lit on fire by the Holy Spirit and that God was bringing healing to our fellowship. Laveena said, �Yes, that�s what I think it means too.�

Our next door Neighbor was talking to Bob this morning and asked where we attend church. He said he needs to get his life changed. Pray with us that he will come to church and to a 40 days of purpose meeting.
Good morning, I have a praise report for you. First, the 9 women that went to the Women of Faith conference was truly blessed with 18,000 women praising God. What the Lord has done is awesome. It was my first time of going and I recommend any women of faith to go. Thank you for the prayer on our trip it went really well.
Also, I want to mention to you that I told my mom that lives in Arroyo Grande about the study and the web site. She enjoyed it so much that she e-mailed the web site to our relatives in England. If you aren't familiar with England, most people there are not Christians, and the few have fallen away. So, after talking to my mom last night, we are praying that this will be a start in the Faith of the unbelievers. Amen! I want to let you know what God is doing in this web site from northern California to southern California, to Florida and all the way to England. Praise the Lord!!! God is good. Thank you for all your work. As you can see it is paying off for the Lords work.
I'm attending the Bible Study at Rose and Calvin Ballards house on Thursday nights. The first night, there was prayer request. My husband to do this study with me and attend was on top of my prayer request. He has faithfully been reading the book with me. We take turns reading to each other. And last night he attended the study. Amen.
Not only that... My mom lives in Arroyo Grande, I gave her the web site and because of the daily word that the Pastor has for this study she is also studying with us. Amen Amen.
God is Good blessings to all.
Before our meeting started, I have to admit that I was a little discouraged. Nearly everyone we had invited slowly called or emailed that they weren't going to make it last night. For a few minutes it looked like it was only going to be me and Brenda. Then my cousin Rod Danyeur showed up. His enthusiasm and readiness for the study so encouraged me that my discouragement quickly disappeared. The 3 of us had an awesome time in our meeting. We took our low attendance as a challenge to go out and invite even more. We wrote down more names of people we could invite and prayed over those names. This morning I'm actually excited about seeing who will be there next week!
