ASA Class A National Tournament 2006

New Image won its first ever ASA title by going 5-0 at the ASA Class A National Tournament in Decatur, Illinois. 
Jeramie Holman was named to the all tournament team as a pitcher along with Outfielder Todd Burlage
NAFA "AA" World Series 2006

New Image won its first ever title by finishing 5-0 at the NAFA "AA" World Series in Appleton, WI.  Most Valuable Player honors were awarded to pitcher
Jeramie Holman.  First team All-World "AA" awards were given to Jeff Jahn (Inf), Joe Benash (Inf), and Todd Burlage (OF).  Second team All-World "AA" awards were given to Bryan Lathrop (P), and Brent Holman (Inf). 
NAFA "AA" 2006 State Tournament

New Image won it's first ever NAFA "AA" out-right State Tournament.  in 2005 New Image was co-champions with Blackhawk Athletic Club.  Catcher
James Zeigler was named Most Valuable Player, and pitcher Jeramie Holman was named Most Valuable Pitcher.  Other all-state selections were infielders Todd Burlage and Joey Benash, outfielders Adam Bussan and Kris Agnew, and pitcher Brian Lathrop.  
Bristol Progress Days 2006 Co-Champions

New Image tied for first with Earl's Club in the Major Division at Progress Days in Bristol, WI.  tied at 1, the game was called after 7 1/2 innings of play due to the start of the fireworks.  With bad weather approaching it was decided to not resume the game after the fireworks.  New Image finished first in its pool with wins over Richwrap, Earl's Club, and Willkomm Mobil.  On Sunday, in the single elimination tournament, New Image advance to the championship game by defeating Blackhawk Athletic Club.  To view a preview of the tournament printed in the Kenosha News

Rice Lake 2006 Co-Champions

New Image had its highest finish ever at the Rice Lake Invitational by finishing as co-champions with Jordan Realty of West St. Paul, Minnesota.  Brent Holman was named to the all tournament team as a DH and co-MVP along with Kevin Kammueller of Jordan Realty.  Jeramie Holman (Pitcher) and Adam Bussan (Outfield) were named to the all tournament team also.

New Look For New Image

New Image will have a new look for the 2006 season.  New Image has added former Evansville Bowl players
Bryan Lathrop, Steve Krupke, Joe Benash, Jeff Jahn, and Keith Sarbacher.
April 29, 2006 - New Image makes donation to SMA

Highland, WI:  At the season opening tournament, nicknamed the Snow-opener, New Image made a $100 donation to the families of SMA.  The tournament is run by the American Express fastptich team every year with the profits going to SMA.  Unfortunately the tournament was cut short by rain. New Image played two games.  They won Friday night against American Express 8-1, and won Saturday against Highland 2-1.

New Image is ranked #23 in the 2006 ISC II preseason rankings.  It is the highest ranking ever for New Image in the ISC II poll.  Click

2005 Recap
New Image finished the 2005 season setting record marks.  The 4th Place finish at the NAFA 'AA' World Series is the highest the team has ever finished at a national tournament.  It has also been the fifth straight year New Image has finished in the top ten at the NAFA World Series.  New Image followed up the NAFA World Series in Mankato, Minnesota with a 13th place finish at the ASA Class B national tournament in Decatur, Illinois. 

Congratulations to
Jeramie Holman (P), Chance Schmid (2B), and Harvey Knutson (SS) on being named NAFA 'AA' First Team All World.  Brent Holman (1B) and Adam Bussan (OF) were named to the second team.
